I hear ya on this but wonder is you don't push back Big Z mins some at this point

Chara's TOI per game played is only 30th in the league - IMO, he's not being taxed. I understand he's getting older, but I think he's still in great shape and can handle the 23 minutes or so he puts in each game.

Again just my opinion here, but I would only rest a player if they are playing through an injury and there is a risk of aggravating the injury further. Other than that, these boys still have a job to do and there is a huge benefit to finishing strong.

and if I may? Playing alongside of Carlo, who`s game still has warts itself, has been far less taxing then playing alongside Trotman who I didn`t mind but it always looked like Z was wasting additional effort to drift over to Trotman`s side to help him out, don`t see it nearly as often with Carlo

I wonder if Stamkos will be back for tomorrow's game against the Leafs. He is so close...would be nice if the Bolts can beat the Leafs.

Then having to face Columbus and Pittsburgh back-to-back on the weekend. Hopefully both teams are still playing for the home ice advantage.

Leafs go 0-3.
TB win their last 3.

Boom. Toronto is out.

I honestly expect the Bolts to cave in, busted their arses to get in the conversation but last night`s game was devastating for them to lose

After reading the "Boston Choke" thread on the main board, I would give anything to make this happen

The collapse will start with a TB win against Tor on Thursday.

Then, Habs with nothing else to win, will sit some and TB will beat them on Friday.

Saturday, Pittsburgh will want to stay ahead of Clb and Kessel will want to help his old team to miss and they will beat Toronto.

Then comes Final Collapse day on Sunday. TB plays Buf and Tor plays Clb. This game probably means nothing for Clb at that point which may help the Leafs. But if TB beats Buf and Tor lose to Clb, the collapse is complete and the Leafs miss!

If that happens, I hope all the Leaf trolls who got a 30 day ban enjoy their summer!

Letang out 4-6 months with herniated disc surgery (neck). Wow, that leaves a hole for the Pens.

A pretty big dust up in the Flames - Ducks game last night. A preview of what could be a testy first round match up. Was taken aback by this Flames futility stat when they visit the Ducks. Mind boggling streak. Talk about a home ice advantage.

NHL Public Relations‏ @PR_NHL
The @AnaheimDucks have won 25 consecutive regular-season home games vs. CGY, the longest such run against one opponent in NHL history.

Man...Letang out 4-6 months. Now I saw on the main board that Okposo is in the Neuro ICU. Scary. Not a good day for health in the NHL. :help:

Praying for Kyle Okposo

The team is classifying his health as very concerning

Very scary

http://buffalonews.com/2017/04/05/sabres-okposo-hospitalized-icu-department/

Okposo is in the Neuro Surgical ICU at Buffalo General Hospital, Paul Hamilton of WGR-AM 550 reported Wednesday. The Buffalo News has confirmed the story.

Okposo has been sick since March 28. The 28-year-old has visited doctors, but Bylsma had no diagnosis to announce Wednesday.

“It’s a difficult thing for him to be dealing with now in this situation,†Bylsma said in KeyBank Center. “Very, as a coach and a person, concerned for him and his situation.

“He’s seeing our doctors and done some tests.â€

According to the website for the UCLA Neurosurgery Department, the neuro ICU cares for patients with all types of neurosurgical and neurological injuries, including stroke, brain hemorrhage, trauma and tumors.

Just saw this interview. After the first question, I really wanted someone to tell that reporter to just let the poor guy go.

Hoping the Bruins beat Ottawa tomorrow. Do not want the Bruins to face Washington and I hope the Rangers eliminate the habs.

B`s owe the Sens a thorough pounding tonight for their mistreatment of our boys last year in game 82

We have no one to blame but ourselves for that debacle. The game plan should be to get on top of that fragile injury riddled Sens D, also if Karlsson dresses, run him at every opportunity like they have been doing to the likes of Pastrnak. Karlsson hates being hit and throws a hissy fit every time someone gets a clean lick on him.

the B`s were to blame but I think tonight is an ideal time to return the favor;)

Would like to see McQuaid go after Boroweicki as soon as the puck drops. That guy took an absurd amount of runs at Pasta last game. Set the tone then win the game

The original little ball of hate returning to the NHL it sounds like? Would love him in Boston now that Clode is gone, but he's likely going to sign an extension in STL.

Good for my SIM team.
