Rick Bowness has been behind the bench as a head or assistant coach more than any person in history???? Did I hear that right????

TB wins in OT. How is OTT a division leader and why don't we crush them? They really not very good.

Tampa was playing the ottawa So that was good right? I can't keep track.

Not really would have been better for Sens to win.As far as Leafs against Tampa,I don't know I always want the Leafs to loose, whether that's the best thing for Bruins I don't no.

I wouldn't pin the Habs' loss on Julien's coaching style. They lost to a better team with a top line that's unstoppable at times, and a resilient goalie who put on a clinic. The Hawks are impressive and fun to watch, but if Anisimov is out for any length of time, it will hurt their chances.

Call me a traitor, but I've actually been pulling for Tampa Bay. I know that throws another team within reach of the Bruins for third in the Atlantic; but if Tampa gets the second wildcard, they could present problems for whoever wins the Metro. They are already playing at playoff level, have experience, and could get Stamkos back. And I like the Bolts, so there!

Joshua Ho Sang had a goal and assist, on back to back nights. He's had instant chemistry with teammates, including Tavares. He's passed his audition with flying colors, and imagine he's at the show for good. I also wonder if in future drafts teams won't be so frightened by alleged maturity issues with players possessing such high skill.

Minnesota continues to slide, and Dubnyk has looked human.

Fun night of hockey!

Habs just can't score. And that is with Paul ''record year'' Byron having already 19 goals. It could be even worse.

24 goals in 12 games since Julien is there.

3 wins in regular time in 12
It was very funny to listen them say it is impossible to win all games 2-1
They also said habs try to keep it 0-0 as long as they can , protecting price and don't go on offense
And HOW PP IS BAD since claude is there  (probably because of sacco)

They clearly said the system work with not very good team but against good fast young players it is awful.
Was very very funny show to watch ))))

Oh to have seen Julien's reaction to that wonderful defensive display :sarcasm:

Emelin is getting roasted in the media circles today for his porous play that has seen him in and out of the line up of late. With all the moves the Habs made playing musical chairs around the deadline with their defence acquisitions, was surprised he wasn't moved. Surprised for sure but immensely happy that they wasn't!!!

Maybe it's the case, but the Habs don't have much firepower outside of Patch and Galchy.
I'm probably biased here, but the Bs have way more talent on offense, even with Hayes in the lineup...

I'm with you and also rooting to for Tampa to make it in the final spot. I can't believe the success they are having with Braydon Point as the #1 center. They are playing 6 centers short from where they started the year which is just ridiculous.

THE UGLY

Alexei Emelin. WTF happened here? Never a star, or close to an impact player (except when he drove Milan Lucic nuts) Emelin at his best was a sturdy, stay at home defenseman who could could pile drive opposing forwards into the boards or force them to get rid of the puck while lining them up for an open ice hip check. Now he has seemingly turned into an infant in a jolly jumper. He destroyed his own team in this one (almost literally – after taking out Gallagher in the neutral zone prior to the goal by Johnny Oduya). It might eventually come to me but I can’t recall a worse game by a regular Montreal defenseman. It’s gotten so bad that even when the 6’2″ Emelin collided with 5’10†175 pound Patrick Kane, it was Emelin who hit the ice. It’s too late in the season to be playing musical chairs on the blue line. If only Nathan Beaulieu had progressed the way it looked like he might when he was inserted into the line up against the Julien-led Bruins…three full seasons ago.
