If we get an Edmonton Pittsburgh final, the announcers are going to be insufferable, falling all over Crosby and McDavid

This is why I can't stand EDM. I know how good McJesus is, but I can't stand the way the media fawns over him and also that people try to pretend that Chia is some awesome GM. He got lucky and the ping pong balls went his way...end of story. Same for the Pens when they got Sid.

Has Vatanen returned to the game after what McDavid did to him? Yikes.
Luckily the Ducks scored right after with a shot that probably wouldn't even have hit the net if Talbot hadn't redirected it.

That Honda Ridgeline commercial with all the different noises drives me completely bananas. It's like fingernails on a chalkboard to me.

McDavid is just a generational talent. I actually pay good money to see him when he comes to town to play the Devils. He's the only player in the league that I do that for. Not that it's been a long time haha.

It will always stick in my craw that Edmonton got him after years of ineptitude. The organization didn't deserve such luck.

I miss Lucic when he was "on". There were few players in the league like him, but in the last few years that happened less and less.

I don't miss the inconsistencies. I don't miss the lack of effort from a veteran at the salary he was making.

Yep...

"During his eight seasons with the Boston Bruins, Milan Lucic became one of the most popular players in town. His hard-nosed style of play and knack for scoring big goals endeared himself to the Boston faithful, which made trading him during the 2015 NHL Entry draft extremely hard to swallow.

We can look back on that trade nearly two years later and say it was a major success for Don Sweeney and the Bruins (and also the San Jose Sharks). Lucic was sent to the Los Angeles Kings for goaltender Martin Jones, defenseman Colin Miller and a 2015 first-round pick that became Jakub Zboril.

Sweeney quickly flipped Jones back the Pacific Division and the Sharks for Sean Kuraly and a 2016 first-round pick which was used to select Trent Frederic."

Big win in this one...

He is Gretzky.

I dunno man. McDavid is basically the greatest skater of all-time, and everything is built upon that. He thinks at breakneck speed too but he still doesn't see the game as Gretzky did. But then again, he hasn't peaked yet.

Fun to watch though, for sure.

-7 so far in the postseason, and that lo-o-ong flip over the glass just typified his week.

not exactly raising his stock, his agent must be nervous right now.

He`s played so poorly this playoff, last year fans here said he was bad, I didn`t think he was as bad as many here did but this year? Awful.

I miss the hits.

I miss him when we are playing the Habs

I liked when he was on the ice with Pasta and Spooner. he made so much room for them ...it was fun to watch.

I miss when he would take over a game

I miss his leadership

I miss how classy he was (off the ice).

It was more fun when Looch was playing for the B's.

Some of the inconsistencies were due to his line mates. I NEVER thought it was lack of effort. I know he hated to lose.

I would have traded Krejci before Looch. Now he is a player who I am sick of seeing sitting on the bench with a boo hoo face on. I know he has talent but he sleeps through WAY more games than anyone else on the team.
