I can see him coming back in a few years to win another Cup
I wouldn't mind but I really don't think that would happen

Three years I can see it
Bruins are a power and Edmonton is a mess salary cap wise because of Chiarelli mismanagement
Totally see this happening
I don't think it was an intentional hit to the head at all. Shouldn't have been a match penalty. Crosby was falling. In real time there is no chance that was a cheap shot, just unfortunate.

That was my thought at first too, but the slo-mo replay looked very suspect. I wouldn't mind seeing the real-time replay again, but I still think it was intentional. These guys see the game at lightning speed.
The replay looks awful I agree. But in real time I feel like he was simply reacting as Crosby was going down and actually could have done more damage but didn't. I guess only one person knows whether or not it was intentional.
This angle is the most indicative I'd say. An argument could be made that he was bracing himself for impact, but I dunno. The way his right hand grabs his stick at the opportune moment is a little too convenient for me.

It was clearly accidental, but the 5 minute major is warranted because it's still a hit to the head. I don't think further discipline is needed. Crosby was falling awkwardly and the dman got his hands/stick up in a typical self defense move dmen have to guys who are about to barrel into them. It's just a tough break for Crosby...usually the dman catches the other guy's shoulder or side of the body.
