Hey Refs the pens have two of the best players in history they don't need your help as well

The "intent to blow whistle" rule is the worst rule in the game. Worse than getting a penalty for puck over the glass.

Horrible pp. the pens d don't fear the preds forwards at all on that pp. it's all about covering the shots from the point.

Nothing against Murray. The ref likely truly jumped the gun.

Ref was also way out if position... The reaction of the other players around + being closer to the rear of the net should have yielded him not blowing the whistle

Safe to say they're firing away at Murray from all angles. Unluckily, the one out of 10 that generates a juicy rebound and the one out of many of those that gets potted got blown dead.

I haven't found this series particularly exciting, so maybe as exciting. But finals happen every season as well...
Different strokes for different folks I guess

I have never thought of July as the most exciting month of the NHL year.

I have never thought of July as the most exciting month of the NHL year.

Congrats. I haven't either.
But i do find the draft and free agent period intetesting, and the expansion draft adds an element that isnt normally there. Like i said I'm not finding the SCF incredibly riveting so would have no issue with it wrapping up so other things can ramp up

This is going to follow the same high pressure game script. Scoreless through the first period. Late 2nd period goal by away team. mid period goal by away team in the third. late goal by home team. 2-1 away team.

Crosby is scary good down low. That grade A atomic fat ass really anchors him and allows him to protect the puck well.

Colton Sissons sucks

He can skate and loves scoring fluke hat tricks but he has the hockey IQ of a ****ing lego

Ellis saves a goal. How much longer can this Nashville defense save this teams ass.

Nashville is really good at protecting the middle of the ice coming back hard without over collapsing and sliding all over the place. That's what it's supposed to look like. Not Girardi sliding across on his stomach watching the puck get put into the net.
