I know we played well today and this has been talked to death but........I cant believe Eansor is here and Tuch isnt. Makes me sad.
Scoring isn't the issue. 4 vs Canada, and probably 10 against the Swiss. They ran into a hot goalie against Sweden. Connor and Garland wouldn't have made a difference. It was just one of those games. Held our sticks tight, pressed, and didn't get breaks. Yes, I would prefer both on the team over any of the bottom 4 and MacInnis.
The team will be fine, lets wait until the medal round before we get carried away.
I asked for 16 goals over the next 2 games so almost there, great job boys!!![]()
I haven't even noticed Dvorak. Been a real disappointment
The Stud D man in Werenski.
Might want to watch the game with your eyes open. 3 games; 1 goal, 3 assists (tied for team lead) all the while killing every penalty and due to injuries playing with a winger with zero points. Not sure what you are looking for. I suspect he is in a defensive role which is a sacrifice he appears more than willing to make. Medals are won by players making sacrifices!
Give me a break...you're replying to a post from December 28 today. He had a goal and two assists today. Before today he had one point and had been pretty quiet (I was a bit surprised because I thought he'd be more dominant than he was). Today he way way better - it was in a blowout...but hopefully he can keep up the momentum, because I think he can be one of the team's best players.
I haven't followed too closely so can someone please update me on the tournament progressions of Mcavoy and Boeser. Thanks in advance.

Got to see him play last night in person, he was completely underwhelming... Like if you didn't follow prospect hockey closely and two of the people didn't that I was with, the question of he was picked in the first round why??? was offered up. He was maybe BC's 6 or 7th best forward, was the same deal the night before against Ohio State. He has very little puck control and looked pretty slow to boot. Not sure what is going on with him as the numbers are not bad even picked up an assist in the first game, but he was terrible in the two games down in Florida on Monday and Tuesday. Something is not right there.
For the record the best player on ice yesterday and really for me over the two days was the Ducks 6th round pick USA born Steven Ruggiero who plays for Providence. I hope he gets invited to camp this summer for next years WJC team. Big and mobile, really nice first pass and very physical. Also because he was born on January 1st in 1997 he has two years of eligibility. In my mind he is a name to keep in mind moving forward.

i liked his game last year. dont know whats happened to him this year...While it's way too early to talk about busting and all with Tuch (and I know you didn't, but some have), I agree. Quite possibly the most underwhelming US first rounder in a while.

I haven't watched him but he's scoring at nearly the exact rate as he did last year at BC. I think he'll be fine.
whats the deal with debrincat
@Otters_Updater
"According to another source, Alex #Debrincat is returning to the #USA lineup tomorrow against the Czechs"
From the Erie Otters, don't know if that is reliable but it was the only thing I could find. It would be nice if he were in the lineup tomorrow.
Being born in 1997 gives him next year only to be eligible for this tournament
