WJC: 2016 — Sweden Roster Talk

Swedish team looks really good. My favorite for the gold medal. Only question is the goaltending, is it good enough to last all the way? Goaltending is usually very important in a short tournament like this. Then again the last time they won gold Johan Gustafsson was unspectacular in net and this years d-corps is pretty good.
 
I remember the days when they posted highlights from all national junior teams on Swehockey.se. Good times.
 
Is Forsling expected to build on last year's performance? Or will they be leaning more on Aho/Carlsson for offensive production?

Grönborg should use very physical bottom 6:

Grundström - Forsbacka - Olofsson
Karlsson - Ehn - Lööke

and

Ollas Mattsson - Englund

Canada will get hell....

so who are you banishing to the 13th forward in this case? Timashov? A.Nylander?
 
never seen holmstrom play and i figure this is the best place to get a scouting report on what he projects as in nhl ?
 
Can someone fill me in on Lagesson? He is kind of the forgotten prospect but now it appears hes getting 1st pairing minutes.

Who are the captains and assistants?

Sandström and Söderström are both very good. I'm more worried about our D than G.

Well Anton Karlsson hasn't hit anybody in two years and he moves around on the ice as if he's trying his best not to **** his pants.
 
Anyone know when the Swedish roster will be finalized? Are they going to play today's game out first?
