Sounds like the first practice lines were:
Lööke-Holmström-Kempe
Eriksson Ek-Asplund-A.Nylander
Vejdemo-Forsbacka-Timashov (Karlsson)
Grundström-Ehn-Olofsson

Nylander and Lindblom not in practice, but Lindblom could play against Denmark on the 1st line.

Forsling-Carlson
Aho-Lagesson
Larsson-Englund
Ollas Mattsson-Pettersson

Englund was not practicing with contact.

Not sure Kempe is a good fit on that top line. I'd rather see Holmström and Lindblom with someone similar to William Nylander. Alexander and Timashov comes to mind.

The AHL-line (Adrian-Holmström-Lindblom) look heavy, though. Maybe they want to balance "Willie's" impact on the team with a superline without him.

So if top 6 looks like:

Kempe-Holmstrom-Lindblom
A. Nylander-W. Nylander-X

Who is getting that last spot? I'm guessing Timashov, but what about Eriksson Ek? Haven't seen much talk about him here. Will he be relied upon for scoring on this team, or will he be playing more of a two-way role?

I think Nylanders will get a try together, but I think William will play with Asplund and Eriksson Ek.

Kovacs is like my favorite thing in the world right now.

We'll be seeing him right?

He should have made it in my mind. To me a lot better then players like, Karlsson, Ehn, Olofsson. But our coach do like his grinders. I do not think that limited players like those I mention belong in a national team like sweden.

They should reunite Nylander and Holmstrom. They were excellent together.

William should not play on the wing this year. I'd rather see Alex in that position.

Still pretty tough to make the cuts after the Denmark game. Pretty much every forward looked good against that defense and our D weren't tested much. Ollas Mattsson, Anton Karlsson & Fredrik Olofsson would probably be my cuts right now.

I see that Sweden has very good forwards and defence, but what about the goaltenders? Are they reliable?

Yes, Linus Söderström had a good tourney last year. And now he got company by Felix Sandström who is challenging for #1 spot. I'd say they are both very reliable.

More that his role is occupied by Forsling and that he doesn't fit in a depth role.

I think you need at least one (i would prefer 2) good puck moving d-men on the ice the whole time execpt for in BP off course. Hockey is very much about momentum so it is importent to have skillfull players even in the deph roles. That is usually what seperates the big team and the smaller teams, the smaller can have a couple of good players, but the bigger team have better deph. If Denmark last year could have filled the whole team with Ehlers clones they would have stand a far bigger chance of going longer in the tournament.

Forsling fits well in PP, but I do not know about 5vs5. There I think a Kylington in good form would add more. Kylington was horrible at the second half of last season, but seems to do good in ahl now going by what the calgary fans writes, and he has preformed well in U20 this season. Either way, it is room for both.

As a long time admirer of the greatest Swede of all time. Borje Salming. I know I am older than probably many here.

Always a fan of Swedish hockey and its players.

This should be a good team, can't wait to see who not only produces for Team Sweden, but who visually plays the best hockey, defence, offence, intangibles in this tournament.

Team Sweden, always respect them in any Tournament they are part of.
