Every Jay wants to hit a homerun. Just get on base. Create some chances

Young is slow, we can steal against him

That 9th inning let down has carried over to today. We need to change the momentum, and soon.

Again, I bet almost if you looked back, situationally almost all of those of those 30 whatever steals were to second base after a single -- so you're sitting at close to 50 (manufactured) doubles -- Donaldson had 41 doubles.

My point was he's not the worst player ever, he's went dry, just like Tulo went dry until this series, just like Bautista has been a ghost in RF, and combined with ridiculous untimely errors that have lead to losing leads and innings extended -- they Jays that have played an exceptionally high level game for the last 2 - 2.5 months have basically beaten themselves this series.

Yes he stole 2nd base 29 times this season (23 with Phillies, 6 with the Jays), and that's pretty much where his value stems from. Many of us said however that if Revere doesn't hit (his singles), he is pretty much doing nothing for the team. A lot of people still suggested that he was a great leadoff man despite stats stating the opposite, and here we are. At least someone like Tulo can provide value on defence and Bautista has the plate discipline to draw a walk, Revere doesn't have either of those traits. And if he can't steal bags then he doesn't provide anything of value for the team.

One and half tools of baseball goodness.
