There's no point.

They have completely ignored that it has been Sanchez/Osuna in the 8th/9th since, oh I don't know, the run to first place began...

Just live with it man.

They blew their first game in months. It's the end of the world. Everybody should be fired...

I agree. I just couldn't help myself.

Look at Hendricks stats.....then look at Sanchez's stats. I know who I would rather have in the game in a situation where I need an out, you can disagree with me it's cool I have thought Hendricks has been misused all year but all this hyperbole about people acting like the season is over....no the bullpen could be utilized better whether we won tonight or not.

Hendicks with a K/9 over 9 and a BB/9 under 2 and a WAR of 1.5 working as a long man out of the pen or Sanchez who is striking out like 5 per 9 and walking 4.....Like it honestly isn't even close statistically.

K/9 of 5.73 (which is a cause for concern) and a BB/9 of 2.05 as a reliever for Sanchez. Since you're arguing about roles in the pen, you should stick to his stats as a reliever.

Oh and Matt Boyd starts against KC tonight ... So it looks like all the young pitchers associated with the Blue Jays in recent years under AA's draft will hurt the team today.

Fire AA .. Amirite? :sarcasm:

Obviously he should be fired.

73-1 this year when leading after 8.

He has no idea how to assemble a bullpen and it's time to get someone that does. :sarcasm:

AA should be canned and then Ruben Amaro Jr. should replace him. At least he knows how valuable it is to have a proven closer like Papelbon :sarcasm:

Sanchez has had a few iffy outings lately. This just isn't a one off. He's been getting hit hard

It was bound to happen. The BABIP fueled facade could only continue for so long. If you can't miss bats at all like him, you just aren't going to keep seeing balls on the ground find gloves.

It's Hendriks BTW. Not "Hendricks".

Which still doesn't change the fact that Hendricks is better then him though. I mean if you objectively look at the numbers Hendricks is better then Sanchez, whether you take Sanchez numbers just as a reliever or all together.

If they had of kept Syndergaard...

Wait, he sucked today and Dickey was good. Damn. Better find something else...

Should of got a closer instead of Price... :sarcasm:

I remember one idiot on Orioles Hangout that said Graveman would help the Jays more than Donaldson.

Can you be more specific? There's a **** ton of idiots on that forum

Some guy named weams (not to be confused with our weems). He also made a post about the Jays with a bunch of surveillance monitors and a handy guide book to espionage: Basically insisting we do covert surveillance on teams in hotels and that ****

I didn't say it was an extended period. But i'd rather not see it become an extended period. The guy is clearly not a better pitcher than Cecil or Lowe right now. He can't get outs when he needs to and he can't get a no contact out when he needs to. Why force him into the 8th inning role? If he had been a stud in that role all season then that's obviously completely different because he'd have a proven track record but he doesn't.

Huh? The discussion stemmed from reference to Osuna.

I have a bad feeling about Rich Hill. I have him on my fantasy team today. I'm losing ERA and WHIP, but am behind by a few strike outs. I figured if he got killed by the Jays, but picked up four or five Ks he could still help me.
