I still think he's more of a Kane type than a Hossa type. Turning into either would be amazing for Columbus but I don't think he's got the strength or two-way play to be like Hossa, even after bulking up.

I think it was Kevin Weekes who said he has the potential to be the next patty Kane after he was drafted. Now just imagine Kane 20lbs heavier :amazed: :amazed: I wouldn't be surprised to see himore put on another 10 or so lbs over the next year.

I would be. Milano would likely be better off around 185-190 pounds than 200+. It doesn't suit his style to weigh that much.

Depends on how much growing he has left to do. 195-200lbs would be perfect if he can keep his speed and agility.

Glad to see our captain out there this am :naughty:

A handful of #CBJ vets on the ice with the goalies for an early session this morning. Dubinsky, Jenner, Prout, Dano among them.

If he ends up in the 205-215 range, he's not no Kane anymore. Hossa is a slick, dynamic playmaker that can finish. Very unique player for his size.

You may not remember Young Marian Hossa :)

Yes I do.. As a young player Hossa was a beautiful sniper

I do remember Young Marion Hossa for the Sens and Bondra for the Caps - I mention both as they were slighter guys that could go end to end with awesome stick handling and deft shots. Scored a lot of game winners between them eh?

I thought of Milano as a Zach Parise type in terms of stature and ability to puck handle / shoot.

Maybe a bit like Oshie except Oshie is more physical.

And yeah, Bjorkstrand scored seemingly at will. He didn't see super strong on the puck, but his shots were very accurate.

Karlson, Bittner, Strenlend are all pretty big boys based on stats and the video from camp yesterday.

I thought we might have gotten a real steal for a minute
From reading the link Fro posted on the draft, if Strenlend can put together a few aspects of his game he really could be quite a steal. Sounds like his upside is sky high.
