I was able to watch the 4 on 4 today but not any Monday through Wednesday. I was interested to see how the Sherwoods played and they didn't look out of place at all. Kole is more of a dangler and likes to take the puck to the net any chance he could. He tries to force some passes that would be better as shots on goal. Kiefer made some nice plays too, having two goals in two games. Kole had a shootout goal.
Kiefer played the last two years at Youngstown USHL, and will be going to
Miami U this fall. Kole will be going to Youngstown this fall, and is committed to Boston U. I saw these guys play many times while teammates with my bosses son playing AAA Blue Jackets U16 and U18. My bosses son played for Chicago Steel and Youngstown (USHL) the last two years and has a scholarship to Bowling Green and will attend there this fall. All local boys with a good shot at making their dreams come true.
Werenski, Paliotta, Carlsson, Heatherington, Collins all have what it will take to get to the next level. Most of them were trying to show off their offensive side of their games during the 4 on 4. All of them have size and are good to very good skaters.
Milano and Bjorkstrand are fun to watch. Only attending one day is too limited for me to critique much.
