Also, by Cleveland, I was referring primarily to Monsters camp, not necessarily their opening night roster.
Here is a spreadsheet that shows the breakdown of where players will likely be hgeaded following training camp.
Columbus - locks to make Blue Jackets roster
Borderline could make Blue Jackets or Monsters roster
Cleveland - will likely be assigned to Monsters roster
Juniors/Europe - will likely be assigned to CHL or Europe
Columbus or Bust - PTO players, not sure to make blue Jackets roster but probably won't accept assignment to Monsters
? - no idea where the two goalies not staying in C-Bus or going to Cleveland are headed post-camp
If anyone has any advice on how to improve the chart, please let me know.
Mods, if this belongs in another thread, I apologize. I started a new thread because I wasn't sure where to put it.
first day of camp a little soon to suggest who is a lock ,agree with most players but every has it's suprises
Change the locks behind Columbus to 1 way contracts and then make Falk a Boarderline.

Thanks. Two minor suggestions:
If you can, it might be helpful to have another column for players that cbj have the rights to, but aren't at camp (Dansk, Werenski, etc) and then bold the players in all columns that have cbj contracts so we can see who counts against the 50 contract limit.
IIRC 18 and 19-year-old players assigned to their junior team in the CHL do not count against the 50-contract maximum until they have played at least 11 NHL games in one season. So, question: does Dansk count as a contract (meaning there are 49) or does it not until he comes back next year? Do the contracts that slide a year upon return to juniors (Sherwood, Bittner, etc) count towards the limit of 50?
Portzline tweeted that Quenneville hinted that he was headed to Cleveland even though some have been reporting that he is headed to Europe..
Actually, never mind. I think the only player who has a CBJ contract who isn't at camp is Dansk. I believe the CBJ have 48 players under contract plus Dansk.

Correct. If you post less, Espen's original "occasional" might still be possible.
Nationwide will not be happy about that name

Good work. Apparently, Quenneville is going to the AHL. But.. I would move Falk from Columbus to "Borderline". Also, would move Paliotta from Cleveland to "Borderline". I think Paliotta can challenge for a spot here in Columbus.
That's the Three C Body Shop line I actually would like to see.
Saad-Johansen-Jenner
Foligno-Dubi-Atkinson
Hartnell-Wennberg-Bourque
Calvert-Campbell-Clarkson
JJ-Savard
Murray-Prout
Tyutin-Connauton
The "Three-C" line, and the 4th-line to boot. The Three-C Body Shop marketing department should be drooling over that...car collisions, 4th-line bangers, etc. Or maybe they could be called the "Body Shop" line?
Falk is on a two-way deal; no chance he's a lock. Paliotta should be considered a borderline player.
Having said that that would be 8 d on the team if we keep the main 7 and add Falk or Paliotta. Baring injury that leaves the potential for a d on the move or exposed to waivers.
Baring injury I don't think Chaput has a chance in hell. I see no reason that Milano would have any more or less a shot as Bjork.
Lastly I wouldn't be surprised if we start to see Heathington and Madaisky's names start to get more and more notice. Also don't be surprised to start to see Tynan get more notice as well.
By all accounts Milano's game is more raw and he's not as good defensively as Bjorkstrand. Bjorkstrand has scored alot more too. Milano's a full year younger and might end up better than Bjorkstrand, but for now, he's not as good.
Uh sure. The scored a lot more too is amusing. Plymouth was a terrible team in which Milano led the team in scoring by a huge margin playing in like 15 less games. You know Plymouth didn't have the advantage of having Strome and McDavid (as an example) on the same team. Who knows, maybe someday we'll reunite Bjork and Bittner.
Don't be surprised to see both of them start in the AHL and, from there, all bets will be off on who sticks first. I think both will have long careers and I wouldn't be surprised to see them stick in the NHL around the same time.
Why is it hard to believe Bjorkstrand is ahead of Milano at this point?
