Probably around 1500. Sorry, we just don't care about CHL here. Some fans even want us to lose these on purpose...
That's part of the problem with the tournament right now. My team were just eliminated and I don't really care. In fact it was most likely a good thing.
As the situation is right now you don't gain much by participating unless you end upp winning the whole thing. You hopefully get some good quality pre-season games, but the playoffs are sadly a waste of time unless you win the title. All you got was a number of extra games to play (and if you are unlucky you get some injuries... Djurgården just advanced, for example, but they lost two players to injuries.... one of them being their starting netminder). And unlike soccer you probably don't get much out of it financially either at the moment.

Slovak site published an article on the CL quoting the president of HC Kosice club number of times.
Tl;dr Participating in the Champions League brings a financial loss to every club, the money received only covers a fraction of the costs needed to participate. The sporting value is the only thing that is keeping it running.
KHL proposed CHL to play a game among KHL and CHL champions during offseason.
Lol, another tifo. Fans from central europe cares so much more about this tournament than Swedish and Finnish fans... kinda makes you feel bad.![]()
I don't feel bad for them, I feel bad (i.e. "guilty") that we don't appreciate it as much as they do.I don't get your logic. Why should we feel bad for them for knowing how to enjoy hockey more than we do?

I definitely felt bad when I saw the attendances at the swedish/finnish world championships..maybe they just care about hockey more in general. Or are you precompensating for expected losses?

Active SHL fans are not fans of Tre Kronor (except maybe at the OGs). If a finnish forward who plays for our SHL-team scores on a swedish goalie who plays for our SHL-rivals... we will most likely cheer or taunt the goalie.Agree, considering how good can be swedish fans in SHL, these worlds especially in Sweden are quite embarrasing....
DIF: "Klockan slår, Klockan slår, Djurgårn' gjorde mål, åh vad det är kul att se Djurgårn göra mål, HEY!"Does DIF really use "Jingle Bells" as their goal song?
