Depending on when the draft hits, Bigras could be exempt, but Zadorov eligible.
Wouldn't Bigras be ineligible though if he only had 2 pro years?i'd assume it's after next season earliest so bigras would eligible too. they can't have it this year.

NHL hasn't decided on players with NMCs being eligible for expansion draft. But expectation is they will not be available for selection

So basically the Avs would have to protect Beauch and assuming they are still here Barrie and EJ so anyone else such as Zadorov would be unprotected.

So Landy, Soda, EJ, and Beauch should be exempt by default with their NTC/NMC.
Plus potentially Barrie and Mack. I'd guess Mack gets one at least.
Wonder if you can give someone a one team NMC and that counts? Give that to Picks and Barrie if so.
there's no one team NMCs.
NMC doesn't kick in until player is/would've been UFA eligible.
That is unclear right now... I've read that they'd be ineligible, meaning they wouldn't even have to be protected. I've read some that say a NMC would be a forced protection.
What are the exact restrictions on NMC's?
no trades, loans, or waivers or anything without players approval.. so no movement at all.
some players have NMC and limited NTC though. so they can't be assigned to AHL but they can be asked to give a list of teams they can be traded or can't be traded to (depending on what's the limit).
EJ is one of those on his next contract.
I meant in terms of how many teams, etc. You mentioned it can't be just one team.
it applies to all teams.
So NMC can't be limited or team specific, only NTC?
