But if it is true, then I would say it is just as wrong to give Hjalmarsson and Rahami a ticket already as well, it was also a mistake to give Josefsson and Lindström a ticket so early. But either way, it is nothing wrong with asking Hörnqvist to wait, and Hörnqvist do act like a primadona.

That means he has room for three more NHL defensemen. He has seven now and is allowed to have eight. So with Ahnelöv and Fransson cut he can bring in three. I have no idea how Fransson is on the team. He was absolutely horrendous the game before cuts were made.

I guess I am alone in thinking that Hörnqvist looks like cry baby in this situation?... Right now Marts is busy preparing for the actual games, calling players who just got eliminated and considering how many players to bring in / how many places to leave open. Have some f×××ing patience. It should be a privilege to play for your country but if you cannot wait for a couple of days for confirmation then I guess good ridance.

FTR Hörnqvist is one of my favorite players but in this situation I think he is on the wrong side.

There is room for hornqvist. Players like danielsson and hjalmarsson are not better. MÃ¥rts is having too much faith in euro players. MÃ¥rts must leave after this tournament. Sam hallam should be the new coach.

Becuse rahimi is physical. All the d you named is not physical. I also think we need thuresson and sjogren on the team since we also need some grit upfront. Lundqvist does not have the speed to hit in wc. Heck, even ahnelov we need, he can form a good physical pair with rambo.

Yes if Rahimi is a "lock" then it is 3 left (Now 2 with Ekholm added). But the point was that he should not be a lock. The defense is however starting to lock pretty good.

Yeah I was 50/50 on that one. I think Forsberg is better at creating offence on his own compared to Loui who needs better passers around him. That was my thinking.

I would easily take him over Ericsson and Gunnarsson because of team needs, and I don't think that Edler, Hedman, Strålman or Kronwall

Danielsson is a first line? I would instead cut him now when Forsberg comes.

So what you are saying is bascially that Rahimi should be a lock in the olympics?

You need to have other skills then being physical to be a good d-men, plus those players I mention are physical enough and add other things as well, that Ahnelöv and Rahimi do not.
