Was with russian team before. Players in black.

But I belief no Russia in final this year.

Czech, Sweden or USA wins in semifinal against Russia or in quarters final.

:D ;)

Swedish communists like Soviet more than USA. Like Soviet Union in hockey. Super teams in 1970 and 1980 and Russia taken over 1993 and won directly. Fedorov and Pavel Bure and Igor Larionov plays for Russia in 1990 to 2000. Finnish people didn't like Soviet Union mostly because there wheres war Finland vs Soviet Union in 1939 and 1942. Finland lost both wars vs Soviet Union. Maybe one finnish friend I like how never are communist like Soviet in hockey before they go down. And today he likes USA most then Finland. Big hockey supporter with finnish national team, little swedes leagues and much nhl. Finnish players in biggest league is powerful for my uncel. US Militants is powerful for my uncle.

Edit1. I wondering Russia second half by country and in hockey the best team are next highest in world.

Russia lack of skilled defenseman

Russian hockey's problems seems to be defenseman they have comparable offense to top countries, but theyr defense is on paper/status same level as sui/svk and on ice they seem to be even worse they are so slow and clumsy> i suppose it would look about same if russia traded its defenseman with norway... is this because all best players are put on forwards at juniors? Russia doesnt have any kind of erikkarlsson types or even samivatanens and until they do they cant use potential of theyr really skilled forwards. i think russia will remain 4-6 in hockey hierarchy until they get good offensive defenseman who can open the game and join play's in offensive zone. Skoda cup's doesnt count in real hockey hierarchy russia plays with theyr half A team on average as other's play with C/D team's

I remember last year I read that the new Russian National Team Coach Oleg Znarok worked a lot on Team Russia's Physical Conditioning and they won the Men's World Championship Gold Medal. Of Course you need Talent to win but you need to prepare it with Physical Conditioning and Creative Tactics like the Great Soviet Union Teams of the Past did under Coaches like Viktor Tikhonov!

Pardon my ignorance, but what are these referring to? Are these exhibition games between Euro teams in preparation for the World Championships or something? In other words, does this mean Tryamkin is getting a look for the WC's or is this something else entirely?

Yea they are exhibition games, mainly to test players for WC. However, coach Znorok appears to be using the Euro Tour as a way to give young players experience playing for the national team. Most of those guys (Tryamkin included) have no chance of making this year's WC.
