The player in question was a Slavia Prague junior team player, whose father (who had made the video by hidden camera two years ago and has uploaded it now on Youtube) allegedly gave 500 000 Czech crowns (over 20 000 Euro) to Růžička so that the player would make it to the professional team. Růžička isn't denying it in the video, only saying his son was given opportunity to play with the junior team, and that making the professional team wasn't part of the deal.Swedish radio reports that Ruzicka is supposedly caught on video receiving a bribe to ice a certain player in Slavia Prague. Can any Czech posters fill us in? Will he coach or is it just tabloid nonsense?
Růžička is now saying the money was used to renovate some facilities in the stadium (which the current board of Slavia denies, and the former board confirms) and that it wasn't a bribe, just a donation. Of course there are no legal/tax documents that could confirm this.
It looks pretty serious to be honest.
