Swedish radio reports that Ruzicka is supposedly caught on video receiving a bribe to ice a certain player in Slavia Prague. Can any Czech posters fill us in? Will he coach or is it just tabloid nonsense?

The player in question was a Slavia Prague junior team player, whose father (who had made the video by hidden camera two years ago and has uploaded it now on Youtube) allegedly gave 500 000 Czech crowns (over 20 000 Euro) to Růžička so that the player would make it to the professional team. Růžička isn't denying it in the video, only saying his son was given opportunity to play with the junior team, and that making the professional team wasn't part of the deal.

Růžička is now saying the money was used to renovate some facilities in the stadium (which the current board of Slavia denies, and the former board confirms) and that it wasn't a bribe, just a donation. Of course there are no legal/tax documents that could confirm this.

It looks pretty serious to be honest.

Yeah, I went off Zaruba a while back. His constant yelling and shouting when we score (even if it's an unimportant game) began to get on my nerves. He also doesn't seem to have any proper opinion on anything, more like a safe opinion that doesn't cause any trouble...Antos is another one that irritates me. But I really like Pospisil

The worst thing is, they're making up some stuffs about NHLers, which is crazy. And the biggest liar is Dusik.

I don't want to see Smolenak on the final roster... I really like what I am seeing from Buchtele and Radil if there will be room, they could be good energy guys for 4th line. I hope we won't see Cervenka or Vondrka. Klepis is not on the roster, right?

Klepis is still playing for Trinec, but he'll probably be on the final roster I don't want to see Cervenka, Vondrka or Klepis either.

Klepis is still playing for Trinec, but he'll probably be on the final roster I don't want to see Cervenka, Vondrka or Klepis either.

I wanted Radil and Buchtele to be on the 4th line last year already. And I really believed they had got a solid chance, it was really disappointing not to see any of them (+ Kousal) on the final roster. And when they didn't make it last year I really don't think they would be there this time when it's home championship.

Klepis and Cervenka will be there for sure, I am not a big fan of them either but I just take this as a fact, not really much you can do about it.

Nice game against Finland and now Winnipeg is out. Pavelec, Frolik, Tlusty are free. I'm curious if Tlusty will be invited but I don't think so. He wasn't good. I hope Frolik will go, great 3rd liner who can score points. Pavelec is in for sure so it gives us Pavelec/Salak/Kovar. We will definitely go with Pavelec/Salak and Kovar as 3rd goalie. I'm sure Kovar won't be happy about this outcome.

Yup, he just won the national championship title with Litvinov yesterday. Ruzicka wants him but yet there is no answer from him.

Rostislav Klesla is not 100 percent so he won't join. Jakub Klepis (most likely) and Roman Cervenka will join the team next week.

Michael Frolik doesn't have contract for next season so it is a bit complicated with him. No answer from Pavelec. He has to clear medical stuff and then he will join the team. Jiri Tlusty not invited.

Yes, he definitely wants more additions and he's waiting till 1st rounds ends for some of our players.

Z. Michalek, Plekanec or Palat would be awesome additions but I think their respective teams will advance to the next round of playoffs.

Yes, our defense is not good. We need badly some puck moving defenseman. It would be very good if Zidlicky could join the team in the case Detroit is eliminated but even better addition would be Z. Michalek. I am not sure about M. Michalek he has had some injury problems and now he might be playing with injury.

Even if he is getting a bit old I really like Zidlicky! Quite tough and with a really sharp shot. Very useful on the PP. Right handed shot also.

I will take my shot on opening line-up (not counting any possible NHL additions). Klepis and Cervenka as they were invited and will join the team, I fully expect them to play so we have to take it as fact, unfortunately... I hope they will surprise us in a good way. Our C depth is horrible but that's nothing new.

I don't like your 2nd line at all to be honest.. Too slow and too ofensively minded.
But it's overally not a very good team, I was hoping it would be better on paper since it's home championship. The center depth really isn't great, too bad Krejci couldn't come. I guess I would put Koukal as a C to Jagr. I could see that working. Hertl could be playing center too, I think he played that position last months in San Jose (correct me if I'm wrong).
It would also be a great boost to get Palat or Plekanec from the NHL. They both will probably advance though.

Yes, that's right, such a line would cost us some games, probably. I wrote it real quickly but anyway this is a mix of players we are going to play with... We really need some NHL additions to make our team more competitive.

Limit for WHC is 22 players + 3 goalies, I believe. Krejci has had some injuries through the season so he wasn't able to go.
