I agree with this on every single thing excepty I think Fabbri plays. I have no idea where you put, him though. Those 3rd and 4th lines are excellent, and we all know that top 6 is filthy. Petan-McDavid-Lazar as a 2nd line? Jesus.

Pretty funny people are ragging on him for just 1 game, that's what happens when it's the wrong game, I mean it was all his fault, it's not like the team didn't play well either.

The problem though is people are also looking at his JR team and his play there not just that ONE game. He also didn't look stellar in a couple other games which culminate in our feelings of him not being the best choice.

Yes, I'd give him the "C". Reinhart and Morrissey with the "A's". He may have missed the bulk of the evaluation camp, but he was on the team last year (and was one of our better forwards IMO), led his team to the Mem Cup while in the Dub, and is having a good season (for a 19-year old) in Ottawa so far. Plays every shift with intensity, and seems like a good leader and teammate off the ice. He's captain material, in my books.

Gauthier or Duclair would be my picks. Gauthier because he sets a great example with his tenacious checking and heart. Duclair has NHL experience and has a certain confidence to him which might loosin the guys up. Hard to say, don't know what these guys are like in the dressing room or off ice.

Some people believe there may be collusion between Murray and Hockey Canada - e.g. would Murray let Lazar go to the WJC knowing it would kick Paul off the squad?
