Heh I was getting ready to post about how this was going to be the first period in the tournament where Dallas did not outshoot their opposition, but a late flurry means we're 5 for 5.

I think the team will be fine if they continue putting pucks on net, I can't imagine we won't score again. Just have to keep off that penalty kill, where the majority of Carolina shots and chances have come from.

I think that's more a reflection on our power play. which just like the big team isn't very good, especially with ritchie now out.

That doesn't mean their power play is better, or their coach is better, or they have a better system. They got some PP goals in one game.. that is all it is.

Brett Ritchie suffered a finger injury, not expected to play rest of tournament. Going Dallas to have it checked out as precaution.

Disappointing but at least it's a fairly minor injury. I'd rather have him sit out than take a risk with it and he's not a player that has to prove himself at the tournament anyway
