The final part of the sportsnet ranking, numbers 10 to 1. The usual suspects are there, although they put Ritchie at the 3rd spot in front of Draisaitl and Reinhart ( which is actually quite possible I think, I'm hearing more and more rumblings that some scouts really see Ritchie as a top 3 talent in this draft)

Leafs will draft Ritchie if he's there at 8 so they need to pump him up pre-draft.

ill cry if we draft lemieux and there's still high lvl talent left on the board

I believe that Lemieux does have his own share of talent. OBVIOUSLY not as flashy as Goldobin or Ho-Sang....but nonetheless important in a hockey team. Honestly, this year is so all over the map, that there won't be a bad pick on June 27th....Will only happen when we will look back on it.

I don't think Bleakley can be labeled as high level talent. He's a notch over Lemieux but will not WOW anyone with his skillset.

Bleackley looks like a really nice overall package. I'd pick him before Vrana, but mostly because I have my doubts about Vrana's hockey sense.

I've got LA King envy, Bleackley's a good blend of size, skill and character - we aren't getting an elite player at 26 that doesn't come with question marks so I'd rather go with the safe pick or Sanheim if he's still around

7 days before the first round!
Lot's of rumors on the web about the Habs making a trade...
Hope we get a better choice, or at least another pick in the second round

Let's play you have no choice game. Neither is not an answer. Goldobin or Ho-Sang?

I go with Goldobin. And frankly....rather easily choice for me. Goldobin has proven to be more a catalyst than Ho-Sang. And I see Goldobin has "easier" to teach a 2-way game than Ho-Sang based on his natural instincts. Mind you, I'm not in the Ho-Sang hate group. I think he will be a good 2nd round pick. But I even prefer Goldobin offensive package than Ho-Sang's....

Goldobin for me too.

talent doesn't necessarily have to mean being a highly offensive player, you can be talented in several other things aswell

Bleackley seems to me like this year's Mark McNeill. No particular elite skills but could end up valuable.

That's a fair comparison I guess, they do play similar styles and come from the same league. I don't know if McNeill will ever find his niche in the big league though, he's been kind of perplexing since his draft year . Where I think Bleackley differs from him is in the work ethic department, he doesn't seam to have the kind of question marks that McNeill had in 2011 . I remember his compete level being an issue back then. McNeill might have had a bit more of a scorer's touch too, Bleackley looks to be more of a natural playmaker type.

Always tough to find perfect comparison. My point was mostly about how both players were highly regarded by some, a little more question marks by others. How they seem to have eveyrthing for themselves, but then, do not possess any elite skills.
