They would say they are keeping it instead of giving it to Columbus. Then, at the draft they would trade it to another team.

Okay that makes sense. (Sound like the guy on the Discover card commercial). They could also trade it ahead of time to another team which then would have to make the choice.

Kinda sucks, but I doubt the Leafs will make the playoffs next year so it will probably be about as good in a better draft.

The Nylander pick is the first one that's surprised me. I thought they would take Nick Ritchie.
