#Ducks have traded No.24 pick to VAN in Kesler trade, and traded 3rd rd this year to VAN for 3rd in '15. Can they still part w No. 38? #CBJ

Doubt we have that 2nd now

Didn't ANA get a 3rd round pick back in the trade?

They would say they are keeping it instead of giving it to Columbus. Then, at the draft they would trade it to another team.

Okay that makes sense. (Sound like the guy on the Discover card commercial). They could also trade it ahead of time to another team which then would have to make the choice. :help::laugh:

That might be better for us, but I was hoping we would get the pick this year.

I was hearing over the last few days that they were high on him. Really wasn't surprised.

The Nylander pick is the first one that's surprised me. I thought they would take Nick Ritchie.

Okay. Yeah, usually Toronto would have taken a guy like Ritchie.

The trades and off the board picks have brought much excitement:sarcasm:

It's always overhyped ... gets worse every year because of all of the "insiders" and speculation. This is how it usually goes

Every once in awhile, there is a Thomas Hickey thrown in ...
