I am very happy with this draft. I didn't expect us to have a shot at either guy at 21. To get both without giving anything else up is unreal. Hopefully we get another good guy at 52

I'm pumped right now. The great thing about Barbashev is that if he doesn't crack the top 6, he's still a pretty good bet to be an NHL'er...plus, it's good that he's friends with Jaskin and he'll have a Russian buddy in Tarasenko. This guy is a leader and a tough/physical player. Awesome stuff.

YES! Fabbri and Barbashev, im absolutely thrilled

Couldn't have done better. So, now it's Barbashev and MPS for Perron. Not a bad deal, at all! And now, Tarasenko has a runnin' buddy. So, he won't get homesick. Great start to this draft. Now just sign Stastny and get a #4 defenceman, and make some other good draft pick choices 9sleepers) to fill the prospect coffers.

Blues take Ivan Barbashev. A Very good pick for the Blues, good vision, decent speed. More of a set-up man/playmaker but he does have a good shot.
