Yeah, he's Portugal's best center back. Alves is a pylon, and everyone else on the bench that can fill in is inexperienced or a pylon as well.

I figured as much. I know a fair amount about most of the guys on the USMNT and some of the bigger named players of major countries, but outside of that I'm a lost puppy. Don't get too annoyed by my newbness

I really think the Germans are the best team in this tournament...similar to Spain in '10. However, its going be tough for them to get the calls vs Brazil and/or Argentina in the later rounds.

Ronaldos and Goetzes eyebrows are so feminine I don't even know what to say. Is this the style with men nowadays? I know beautiful women with eyebrows that aren't even that manicured, its ridiculous.

I feel like this years white Germany kit is the best they've ever had. Usually it's so subtle but it almost feels like their transition to a more offensive game brought a jersey that is slightly more exciting than usual.

They're very nice but I would have liked to see just a tad more gold/yellow

That said, their darks are probably the best in the tournament.

Ugh I hate them. Literally look like the blast off popsicles. Their Gold Cup jersey were gorgeous. Don't understand why they couldn't stay with that theme.
