Weird how people can interpret the same thing different ways. He seemed almost critical of Reinhart I thought.
I think it's more hearing what you want to hear.

1.) BUF -- Sam Reinhart
TEAM: Kootenay (WHL)DOB: 11/6/95HT: 6-1WT: 183POS: C
Team fit: It is fair to say Buffalo GM Tim Murray is the NHL's version of HGTV's Nicole Curtis (though the physical similarities probably end with the glasses). Like his "Rehab Addict" counterpart, the rookie GM has set about to return the ramshackle mess that is the Sabres franchise to its former glory. Despite the fact that Murray earned rave reviews with the haul of future assets he brought back from the trade deadline, his real skill (and the reason he was given the job in the first place) is in the talent evaluation department. With the first overall pick, Buffalo will select Reinhart to bolster one of the weakest offensive attacks (1.82 goals per game) in the NHL modern era.
Pronman's take: Reinhart is the best pure passer in this draft class. His ability to dictate the tempo of a hockey game, in terms of increasing or decreasing pace and making plays at all those speeds, elevates his game to a distinct level. Reinhart can make all kinds of plays with the puck, and his elite hockey sense stands out regularly in terms of the passing lanes he sees.
Provenzano and Pronman's Mock Draft 1.0 on ESPN INsider:
2.) EDM -- Ekblad
3.) FLA -- Bennett
4.) NYI -- Dal Colle
5.) CGY -- Fleury
6.) CAR -- Kapanen
7.) WPG -- Nylander
8.) NASH -- Virtanen
9.) ANH -- Draisatl
10.) VAN -- Milano
Other notables:
11.) TOR -- Ritchie
14.) DAL -- Barbashev
16.) DET -- Ehlers
29.) BOS -- Demko
I jinxed Bennett. They were up 3-0 and I said Kingston should sweep them easily tomorrow. Now they lost 4 straight games and the series is over.
Didn't Marchand say "I may not be in the league today if not for Coach Nolan." or something similar?Found another player that has similar stats to Bennett in juniors.

Why do I have a sick to my stomach feeling that we won't win the lottery and the team that does takes Reinhart? Unless we, NJ or Edmonton win the lottery I think we lose out on Reinhart . If we do pick #2 I give whoever has #1 as many 2nds as they want to swap picks so we can get Reinhart.
The absolute worst case scenario is that the Isles win the lottery. They would definitely defer to 2015 and are 100% taking Sam R because they already have his brother. That would make me so ****ing angry I would Lose it and only us getting McDavid or Eichel with the Isles 2015 1st would be the only thing to make up for it.
Put together Murray's comments on Reinhart and Dal Colle and you have a perfect match.

I'd relax. It sounds like Murray likes the centers at the top of the draft. As much as I'd like Reinhart, I think we'd all grow to love Bennett, as well.

I know it was a tremendously small sample size (one game), you can't draw any conclusions from it, blah blah blah, but there was definite chemistry between those two at the prospects game, even aside from MDC's goal. It was a nice little taste of what could be, though again, and I admit, it was just one [exhibition] game.Put together Murray's comments on Reinhart and Dal Colle and you have a perfect match.
You hear what you want to hear. You heard Draisaitl mentioned 2nd and being critical on Reinhart.
Which I fully expected you to hear.

Big deal, it's not like you are missing out on Crosby for Bobby Ryan. Bennett or Draisaitl could very well be ahead of Reinhart in a years time.
I don't know if you guys are trying to hard to figure out who Murray likes the best or what but I listened to that interview a couple times and the only thing I got out of it are that those 5 guys make up the top of the draft which is kinda expected. I don't even know if Tim knows who his pick would be at this point.
I can see the the top 5 in the Draft being: (if Buffalo wins Lottery and if NYI give us their pick, in a perfect world)
#1 Reinhart - Buffalo
#2 Ekblad - Edmonton
#3 Draisatl - Florida
#4 Bennett - Buffalo
#5 Nylander - Calgary
