NT coaches decided to have a look on some younger guys this time and it looks like they know better how to make use of him than his club coach.

I have been watching the game and Darnell Nurse has looked really impressive. Breaking up the cycle, stopping the rushes, and moving the puck out. Just a really good game. If he is not on the U-20 squad that will be a travesty.

The game is over and the final score was 4-0 for Russia. OHL came out well in the first but then Russia came on in the second and never looked back. There were some really stupid dirty penalties from team OHL especially Tyler Bertuzzi. They just got frustrated and dug themselves a hole.

Nurse played a really good simple game. He was one of a very few bright spots on this poor performance from team OHL. He did everything well. The commentators were raving about Nurse all night as well. Commenting on how impressive he looked and just a good all around game. This man should be on the U-20 squad for Canada.

As well it seems in general as if players from Hockey Canada offensive game are just slowly going down. The teams from the past few years look less and less dangerous offensively each year. Does anyone else notice this?
