As an NHL fan but a HUGE European Football fan, this has me extremely excited. Hope there are English streams for some of the games... Might have to just stick with catching Nottingham Panthers broadcasts if the UK is playing any of them.

If they can get the KHL somehow involved, even if indirectly (i.e. a playoff between KHL vs CHL champion) that would make this a sweet parallel to the world of football - almost all of Europe is involved to crown a champion.

Really excited for the upcoming CHL! Already bought the tickets to the first two HIFK games at home vs Vojens and Krefeld! Here's hoping the league is going to be a success, although one shouldn't expect too much from the first season. Rome wasn't built in a day!

Anyone know of any other prospects or potential future draftees that are playing on any of the participating teams. Obviously some of the signed prospects will only play if they don't make their respective NHL team after training camp and some might start in their clubs U20 team before possibly being promoted.

I found that they have agreements with several other players from last "miracle on ice" season. at least with goalkeeper Hübl. Simply that they have sufficient financial guarantees...
