What's the excuse going to be if the Kings lose?

Kings are favored and if Greene is ready to go they are healthy. It'll be a big disappointment if they're bounced in round 1.

I'd cry, then have a 2012 SC watchathon where I watch all the games from last year in a 72 hour period.

No back-to-back games, that's good and more than can be said for some match-ups. Yikes. Compressed schedule carries over to the playoffs for a few teams.

CBC with the brain fart of picking two series with the exact same Tuesday start times. First two games of the playoffs (MIN @ CHI and LA @ STL) with the exact same start time. Can't wait to see how they split that up across Canada. Some Canadian Kings fans will be screwed.

They changed the start times for the Kings games. Ugh.

4:00 PDT on Tuesday and 5:30 PDT on Thursday.

UGH!!!! I'm so freaking annoyed. Ottawa will definitely get the Chicago-Minnesota feed, ****.

They did? The Kings just posted this.

You guys have not seen JayBo yet. Thats all I am saying. Depth is in the blues favor, not by much. JayBo changes the game IMO. Blues are 11-3 since bringing him in. Him and leopold are huge depth upgrades over Russel and Cole. Cracknall has put in a couple of points lately and Reaves even had a two goal game Thursday. Sure these guys probably wont score in the playoffs, but this pair beats Fraser and Nolan. Both offensive and defensive. Sure those are only 2 players, but I think the overall depth in terms of ability to have 3rd and 4th lines score favors the blues. The kings have much better scoring threats, just not on the 3rd and 4th lines. Defensive scoring should be about even with a slight blues favor. Voynov Muzzin Doughty vs Shatty, JayBO Petro.

JayBo (really?) is the new Andy MacDonald. Last year you guys were all about the fact that we hadn't seen him all year. Apparently JayBo is the flavor of the year.

Getting the local feed might be sketchy for those of us outside of SoCal. Their is a Clippers on FSPT at 730, and an Angels game on FSW at 700. So KCOP is likely where the local feed will be.

Here's the breakdown for Canada peeps:

MIN vs. CHI game 1 on CBC Saskatchewan to East Coast
LAK vs. STL game 1 on CBC Alberta - BC

This is why I hate the Kings being on CBC. I'm at my parents' in Saskatchewan and of course this means no HD broadcast for me. They luckily have CBC Vancouver on their cable so I can watch in SD. If the lines are drawn the same way for subsequent games when I am home, I may be screwed. I live in a city that straddles Alberta and Saskatchewan, I'm not sure where the local CBC affiliate would be on thia line. It is located 2 blocks into Alberta, but as it can only show one game, I'm thinking they could choose either. I finally get Centre Ice and miss watching only one game all season and I might miss the most important games of the season legally. Ridiculous. I can only hope my cable provider shows the other game on one of the Centre Ice channels. I know last year they did with a game CBC moved to CHEK.

I hope they put the players in hotel rooms similar to last years playoffs once they're back in LA, keep the boys from getting comfortable.

Here's to #RoadWarriors2013

Whenever Blues fans say "you haven't seen (insert any stupid player that makes them go to sleep at night)" sound like its Malkins and Karlssons. Its getting embarrassing. Jaybo is okay, and elliott sucks.

I find it interesting that Hitchcock recently revealed that Elliot had an ear infection during our series. Why didn't he mention this after the series and did Elliot have it in games against the Kings this season too? Hmm....right.

What's Greener status for game1?
Ellerby scared the **** out of me in the RS, can't imagine what damages he'll be capable of doing in the playoffs...
