it's ******** kessel only got 3 preseason games. if he would have injured scott, he'd be punished more severely. Hey, it's okay to swing your stick around like an *******, as long as no one gets hurt. ****ing joke.
I wonder if Kessel gets a pass cause of his star power? Why does he get to serve his games in the preseason, and Clarkson serves all of his in the regular season?
if a monster the size of scott was coming after me i'd chop him down too. I have zero problem with what kessel did. he could have swung the stick at his head. jumped on the pile. and the parting shot kessel gave him is what he deserves for being a POS
You answered your second question with your first question.
If Kessel doesn't have that dopey reputation, coupled with star status, he's out for a regular season game or two.
scott was hardly doing anything to him. Okay, the first swing I can see where kessel is coming from. But he whacked him again when he was already subdued, and then on top of that, he speared him. It was totally uncalled for. Kassian got suspended, and rightfully so for using his stick like an ******* resulting in Gagner's broken jaw. Kessel was not defending himself after the initial scrabble. The same rules don't apply to everyone, and it's a joke.
The same logic should hold true for Kessel then. Scott wasn't hurt so no one should criticize Kessel right?
Difference is that what Kessel did was dangerous, what Scott did wasn't.

lol it was John Scott, he wasn't there to just whisper niceties to Kessel. If he wasn't getting in his ear and trying to come at him I don't think Kessel goes off on him like that, he didn't want to get into it with a guy seven inches and 70 pounds bigger than him, what else was he supposed to do besides run away like an idiot?
