That last goal was piss poor that Holtby let in. He looked surprise that it got past him too. This game just pisses me off after the recent performances against the Devils. After we go down against the Flyers we come back, but once we fall behind the Caps we stop playing.

Philly is playing better than us lately mostly because they have many more scoring threats and speed than us. Not even close from the blueline too.

The Flyers "looked" like a better team than NJ in last year's regular season too.
So I'm not buying what this Philly team is selling against a fatigued Caps team.

Yes this is something I said we desperately needed. Last year some of the lowest scoring teams in the league outscored our defense. It's been a big improvement, and has helped a lot.

The Flyers aren't that good right now. It's more like this is what the Caps really look like. They look good when facing the trash in their division, and a sleepwalking Devils.

Habs beat the Laughs so that helps us. Philly winning is no big deal. 3 points behind us, and we have 3 games in hand.

Also Zolnierczyk sucks. He deserves a suspension. Was that really necessary with 25 seconds to go in a game you have won?

I understand when they play like sore losers when they're losing. Not saying I approve of it, but I understand.

When they play like that in a game they're 25 seconds away from a guaranteed win though I don't understand.

To be honest Ilya doesn't look better at ES: 7 pts in 19 games.

The difference is that the Devils are in a playoff spot, and the Wild are not.

Milbury is of course distorting things to make his point. They didn't show the lead up to that play, but I assume it was a run of the mill rush up the ice for the Flyers. There are times where it is perfectly acceptable to change in that situation.
