Doubtful, if we are in any position where we are winning games against the Rags it is only happening if we go into it on some sort of winning streak, which would mean the Rags playoffs hopes are not secure.

Not so much about just turning it on, but getting some bounces in a couple of games and sort of stumbling into a streak. Team wins a couple of dirty games, remembers what winning feels like, gets Kovy back, then who knows.

All moot if we can't win tomorrow and Monday. Need two in a row right now or you can call it.

Problem is that the devils don't stink often, but when they do, my god..... I mean they just lose for months at a time it seems. You want these guys to do well and its just been an incredibly frustrating and demoralizing last couple of months. Its truly been feast or famine with this team since the 2009 /2010 season.

I honestly think this team could be in Johnny Mac mode before long. I wouldn't be surprised if Marty just falls off a cliff too for the remainder of the season. No more expectations for me. I see this team going down a bad path to end the season. As if the path they're already on wasn't bad enough.

I wonder what feed me a stray cat would say about Carolina? 4 of their last 5 games they've had 40+ shots on goal, but have scored 4 goals in those games. 4 goals in 180 shots. That's like a 978 save percentage for the goalies they're facing, and like a little over a 2 percent shooting percentage. Are they just really unlucky? Or are they taking easy shots mostly from low percentage scoring areas?

It's been tough and does not feel like a real season for some reason.

But, we could see some wins coming up and if they keep losing a better 1st round draft pick in late June at The Rock.

If they are out of it by next week, I hope they bring up some younger guys from Albany for the remaining games-assuming Albany is no longer in playoff contention too.

Our scouts, espcially the Euro ones, have not drafted enough talent in the last 5-7 drafts. A big BOOOO to them.
