I think that long term it will benefit St Louis more however: they can retain who they want to keep, get a bust and a 2nd round pick and get rid of a diving one dimensional player

Perron doesn't strike me as a particularly good fit in Edmonton: they don't need more scoring though it certainly doesn't hurt

A hell of a deal for the Caps on Alzner, hopefully it helps us get Cowen at around 2-2.5 million (I think Alzner is considerably more proven)

I would not let him walk. It would set our defense back quite a bit. We already lost gonchar, we do not need to lose cowen.

Spezza only has two years left on his contract, only real dumb gm's would offer two elite prospects and 1st for that..
