They are, but you usually have to pay big for them. Hodgson was the Nucks top prospect at the time. Simmonds was a big piece of the Richards trade.
Like I said, I'm a proponent of having that kind of player, but I don't believe in scraping the bottom of the barrel for one.
If that's the route the team wants to go, then they need to either change their style of play OR really build up their bottom-6 with guys more than willing to do the dirty work. Even adding another couple of players like Dorsett or Prust would go a long way towards fixing the issue I'm talking about. McLeod would be a good idea.

Asham is too slow. If you are going to allot a couple of roster spots for guys who can drop the gloves, make sure they can skate and can provide other things in the process. McLeod can PK. Dorsett can PK. Both hit and can score as well. Nystrom is a VERY good PKer and effective forechecker who can score as well.
Those types of guys need to fill out the bottom-6 if they want go with a mainly all-skill top-6.
