Thank you.
its really pointless to speculate what the Rangers can or will do this off season until we see what happens with Richards.. Honestly though, the Rangers need a top LW, 2 guys for depth and a right handed defensemen. thats a tall order in one off season.
If we could swing Del Zotto + for Burmistrov and Postma. That's two holes filled. Gives us another shot at the point on the power play as well. In that scenario id like to see Moore and Postma on the points on separate PP units.
Buyout Richards. Retain our RFAs.

No offense but we can't buyout Richards because if he comes into camp in shape, he is still a #1 center.

Yes, they can, because of CAP RE-****ING-CAPTURE.
How many times does RangerBoy need to say it? Seriously.
Why do you act like no one knows the risks that goes with keeping Richards another year? the RANGERS know the risk, and from all accounts, they are still seriously considering keeping him. You don't have to point out the obvious, everyone already knows, there are just differing opinions.
The + i was thinking about would be somewhat inconsequential anyway. Throw ins to get Postma as well.
We have a slew of 3rd round picks and some decent B-level prospects. Perhaps some fat on the roster as well. Pyatt, Asham.
He wasn't this season. Let's assume he comes back in shape, let's also assume he regains his form next season, how long do you think he can stay at that level? No offense but we can't buyout Richards because if he comes into camp in shape, he is still a #1 center.
He's saying "they can't buy him out". Doesn't matter if Richards put up 1000 points next season. It's still a stupid decision. If he gets injured, the cap penalties could CRIPPLE this franchise cap-wise.
Yeah Yogan is looking the part so far, but he needs time.FWIW, I definitely agree. But the Rangers haven't seemed to draft many players in that mold regardless. Jessiman pick definitely scared them off a bit. Fingers crossed for Yogan.
I think the Rangers can do better than Burmistrov as the main peace in a Del Zotto trade honestly.
No, No + should be needed there.
We need a top 6 forward for Del Zotto anyways.
If we can move MDZ for top dollar, like 7 overall, we should pursue other avenues for Burmistrov.
Hagelin + Eminger + Ranger 3rd for Burmistrov + Postma + Jets 2nd?
Nash hasn't and won't play LW with the Rangers for some reason. Grind Jam Grind pointed to a video where almost all of his goals were from the RW side.
Burmistrov is going to be. That kid has real talent. He's smart. He's strong. I don't believe the KHL is an issue with this one.
The idea is to capture the breakout talent before the breakout. And the breakout realistically could be the upcoming season.
Either way. Id like a depth defenseman in the return package.
Burmistrov + Postma
Ferraro + Smith
Eberle + Petry
