No matter who Oilers get they cant put it together

As hard as I have been on Lou, the one area he probably could school the Oilers on is roster construction and team philosophy, especially if he's had the kind of assets they've been given over the last four or five years. They've been put together like hodge podge by Lowe and Tambellini and I'm not sure MacTavish will do any better. We'll see.

That's one of the few things I agree with Pierre McGuire on. Lou understands building a team/roster.

Jagr had 35 points in 45 games last year. That's great. He is old sure, but who cares. He still plays on a very high level and should probably be better than Brunner for at least next year.

As long as it is a 1-year deal i see absolutely no risk and would love to have him on the Devils.

Talked to Adam Henrique earlier today. Said he's "close" to re-signing, but it's not done yet. Sounds like length of deal is still TBD.

Was hearing this earlier as well. Hopefully it's not a short prove yourself to us contract or a long term currently overpaid. Something inbetween please

I think he should be rw but I wouldn't say lw is set. Henrique will be a c most likely, carter may be a c if Gio doesn't play, and Tedenby may not even play.

the guy is still great guys i know im biased and all...all you need to do is look at his numbers from dallas and boston, no he didnt get out of gas, but he had no chemistry what so ever with Marchand, if you watched closely as i did you would know he didnt recieve any passes from him. You could clearly see Jagr skating behind Marchand from 2nd wave with no defender on him but he never got the pass, if you would look at some compilation of him from flyers you would see some his goals from there
