Yes tom Kostopowhatever is gonna really help us...we already have a 4th line. We actually need everything but 4th line players. There's no point to the move and it won't help us whatsoever. Either get a top 6 player or start selling.

How bad could it be? Because we all knew what we'd be getting from guys like Bernier, Carter, etc who most of us doubted

Doesn't solve any Top 6 problems, but I like it. No risk.

This is just a move to mess with Cangi and Chico - they'll never get his name out in one piece.

This. Let's all jump on Lou because all of our moves have to come at once. Top 6 scoring forwards aren't available right now. When the market opens up in a couple of weeks and a trade is there, it'll happen. Right now, it's on our own very talented forwards to start putting the puck in the net.

The problem is we have our most embarrassing game of the year and the team is getting boo'd on home ice and Lou goes out and signs another goon/4th liner.

I think as bad as it appears, we have to make a decision if we're in or out of the playoffs and acquiring help is the difference. Does anyone feel the same?

My opinion is that they need to get some damn points and going 0-5-1 is terrible. First place in the conference to 2 points to 9th is semi-tragic.

They've played fine for a few of these games and would have gotten something to show for it if moose or one of the molasses we have on D didn't do something dumb.

Nothing wrong with the locker-room. It's basically the same cast last year minus Parise. It's a largely a talent issue on the top two lines, which are exarcerbating other problems. Look at the numbers of the so-called Big Guns during this losing streak. They don't lie.

What's messed up is that the Rangers grabbed Roman Hamrlik off waivers. To me, that would have made more sense for us than grabbing Metropolis. (Whatever his name)
