2013 Draft Thread Part IV - I Am Suffused with Great Uncertainty

What would cause us to move back? I'm not sure how that would work out.
 
I wouldn't be surprised if Lou does throw a huge curveball and does trade the pick for some help now. It would signal to me that he wants to give Marty (himself as well) at chance at one more cup. Or at the very least to ensure we don't have to forfeit a low pick next year.

I also said Lou would get us some help somewhere to replace Parise last Summer, and it didn't happen so I could be wrong.

We could probably get that teams second round pick also to go with whatever they give us. Maybe that's too much to ask for though if we went Eriksson or somebody like that.

I'd be shocked if we dealt the pick for NHL help.
 
I really don't like the idea of trading back.

I can't really think of where we trade back to around the 20th pick and get a solid top 6 forward. getting another 2nd really doesn't interest me much either

so far the four players we're aware of attending the NJ combine are: Monahan, Erne, Rychel, Marc-Olivier Roy.

All depends on how we rate the guys..

if 9th to 20th is real tight and you feel you can get who you want later...then it's smart to move back and get more picks.

The fans won't like it cause in our eyes there will always be someone on the board worth taking at that spot...but that's why we are fans and not mangement/scouts

I don't think it will, but it wouldn't shock me if we did.

I would hope we can get someone who can contribute sooner rather than later. To be honest though I don't trust our coach with younger players anymore. I've seen too much of his poor handling of them.
 
I don't want to move back in the draft.

Top 10 pick + 39th overall pick>>>>Mid 1st round+39th overall+Mid 2nd round

If a team signs him to a hypothetical 3 year two-way contract and sends him to the AHL, the IIHF won't let him sign a KHL contract.
