Last season he got more time with Sid out and the year before he got even more time because by the time he was healthy Sid and Malkin were both out for the season with the concussion and ACL. I think he got better during that time but I don't think he's 1st unit material. He's a good 2nd unit guy especially if you play a legit 2nd unit and don't just throw your 2nd unit out there for the last 30 seconds with no time to really set much up like the Pens often do.

Jordan is a very good player, but not very effective on the pp. He just doesnt have a good role, he is not a setup guy, isnt good in front of the net and doesnt have much of a one timer. His pp scoring compared to the minutes have been really bad for long and for a reason.

That being said it's not like he couldnt improve as a pp performer with time.

I was at the Leafs' game and his foot was going forward, I have it as no goal. Didn't even show the replay in the arena because they didn't think it was a goal, which was ridiculous to begin with.

Great seats, surprisingly great time at the normally dead ACC.

I didn't realize just how bad Ovechkin is actually doing this year. He's only got 2 goals and 2 assists this year, but to make matters worse three of those four points are on the PP. He's got a single, solitary assist at 5 on 5 in 9 games so far.

I guess Winnipeg fans were correct when they collectively said: "Crosby's better!"

Viktor Fasth from SEL will most likley come overseas in the post-season, i know i've nagged about him for a long time. But he could be a good fit.
Agressive butterfly goalie. All he wants is a one-way contract.

i was searching through the RRP thread entitled, "Finding Crosby's Neal" from last year's trade deadline, when i stumbled upon your prescient Fasth prognostication.

He's getting flanked by some serious skill in Skinner and Semin

Semin is playing mostly with Eric with Skinner playing with Jordan.
Then I think Dalpe and Dwyer are split between them. Or Dalpe and Bowman.
It was Dwyer I believe who made a pretty good play digging the puck out from between 2 or 3 Leafs and turning to hit Staal immediatly assisting on his goal.

Still nice seeing Staal play with someone with that much talent.

On that note...what the **** was Tom Poti doing on that first Maple Leafs goal? Your goalie leaves you the puck and you just stare at it until it gets stolen from you and deposited into the semi-open net. It's like he glitch froze there.
