Absolutely. It was a good mention because he has got speed, some decent skill and you know he is going to defensively responsible after years in Detroit. I think he would work great with Sid.

I just am upset we came away empty during the last free agency. If we can get Sid a winger, and not use up valuable futures, be it picks or current prospect, it is a win-win. I will hate it if we bankrupt a chunk of the future to get that winger. But I guess it depends who it is and the cost. As I would give up A LOT to get Corey Perry. Now that is me dreaming, haha. If we could get him as a UFA.........I will start working on the Shero statue.

I showed a list awhile back of talented wingers acquired for some combo of second/third round picks and avg prospects... It included guys like Vermette, Ribeiro and Versteeg. Any of these guys would really help this team.

A guy I think could be had for a second is MacArthur. He isn't Perry or Iggy, but he and Kunitz would make a really good playoff line that gets **** done I think. He brings Dupuis' heart, but has more skill.

JStaal just made a nice move and scored.

Wow, all alone in front of the net. No Leaf player within 12 feet of him. Gets the puck forehand, goes to backhand and puts it in. A super loud roar from Jordan after he scores. Obviously very happy to get his first as a Cane. Nice play.

He's getting flanked by some serious skill in Skinner and Semin

Yeah, Staal got left alone in front of the net and made a quick forehand to backhand move to bury it and what kind of move did the Canes announcer say it was? A power move. Maybe Steiggy has a school of broadcasting that we don't know about.

Kessel gets knocked for his defensive play, but the thing about him is that he can be a highly effective player on the backcheck because he's just like Geno. Incredibly fast and has the hands to be able to pick pocket guys. He just needs to commit himself.

I'd give up some serious assets for Kessel if I knew what he was looking for in his next contract. We just simply can't afford a 7 million dollar winger, which is what he'll be.

I had a puck just flipped into my face at a pick up once and it was incredibly painful and turned pretty much the entire left side of my face black and blue. I couldn't imagine getting a shot to the face.

I find it shocking he's still goalless.

Jordy still not on a top PP unit haha.

He started out there at the beginning of the season but I don't think it was effective so they switched him out recently.

I think all he needs is legit 2nd unit time which he didn't get here with Sid, Gino and sometimes others playing the overwhelming majority of the 2 minutes.

Wow, I dunno about that call that gave the Canes a PP, on which E. Staal scored. A little bit of a spray on a stop by McClement and it is unsportsmanlike penalty......???? Pretty weak call.

If you check the pp time he had it was average 2nd unit time. He averaged 2 minutes a game last season and over 3 per game the season before
