Falk will be 25 in October and needs waivers to be demoted.
A risk worth taking if he is anything like he was during game 1. He will make for a good whipping boy if he sees any ice.

If we're to assume Cally, Hags and maybe Stepan aren't available to start the season, Can someone give me their best guess as to what the lines will look like for game 1( I guess a lot depends on who makes the team), but I'm just looking for likely scenarios.
@BlueSeatBlogs I just got clarification from #Rangers PR on this question. No waivers needed if he doesn't make opening day roster.
On Talbot:

Maybe Rangerboy can explain this to us. Can someone quote me so he can see it?
Talbot is 26 and has been a pro for three years.
I'm kind of thinking the Rangers PR is mistaken.... I can't see how Talbot would be exempt. Are you on his blacklist?
Rangerboy/GAGline - Help 31 out. He really, really needs it.![]()
aww, thnx.Who would blacklist -31-? 1/20 posts from him are really informative

Panthers fan just wondering what the goalie situation is with Hedberg released and Biron MIA. Who's the backup for when the season starts?

AV trying Kreider in net-front spot, akin to Ryan Kesler in Vancouver. Nothing set though
Outsider's question here, I see the Rangers have 23 forwards on their roster, but never saw any word on the following players: Taylor Burke (Never saw it confirmed that he was actually there); Josh Graves; Thomas Spelling; and Dyson Stevenson. Were they all released or are any of them still in camp?
The Rangers have been doing some ghost cuts. Skapsi is another who is no longer at camp, but wasn't announced as cut at any time.Outsider's question here, I see the Rangers have 23 forwards on their roster, but never saw any word on the following players: Taylor Burke (Never saw it confirmed that he was actually there); Josh Graves; Thomas Spelling; and Dyson Stevenson. If they take 8 d it will be Falk and Bickel with Johnson going down most likely. They make the most sense and Bickel can play forward if need be.
Assuming Stepan comes back:
Hagelin and Callahan to IR:
Kreider-Stepan-Nash
Zuccarello-Brassard-Pouliot
Pyatt-Richards/Lindberg-Kristo/Fast/Richards
Boyle-Moore-Dorsett
Haley/Asham/Powe
So far, that is pretty much how I see it.
Third line is a tough call.
Richards-Lindberg-Fast/Kristo if you are forcing me into making a decision, I think with Richards slowing down he might be better suited on the wing. Only concern is possession and board play.
Jim Cerny: Rangerfanlam: Top 6 forwards or D? As for prospects, pretty easy to see that, as predicted, Kristo, Lindberg, and Fast are the closest to being NHL players...today AV stated that all 3 "are pushing" for spots, though starting in minors would not be worst thing for any or all of them
