OT: 2013-2014 NFL Thread (Week 1!)

I hate losing more than I like winning. My least favorite thing in life is when you beat yourselves though.

This is a tough one to swallow. What a winnable game.

Why are we trying to get the ball to Scott? Guy wasn't even going to be on the team. Absolute joke.
 
Nicks and Cruz had a step on that D all night long. Of course, don't try to throw those long balls.
 
Michael Turner should be packing his bags now. Heavy hitter with Wilson as a change of pace back.

Usually I defend Eli to the death, but two huge boneheaded plays there on those first couple of interceptions.

Like I said, beating yourself. I hate that ****.

No call on Weatherford was a joke, too. But can't say that was the reason the Giants are going to lose.

linebackers suck.. the DBs weren't actually THAT bad.. we also lost Prince which did not help at all.. Myers is a very good TE, and what did Brown do? lol.. I know people are venting but geez.
 
Victor Cruz.. 3 TDS and 118 yards... Hakeem Nicks.. 114 yards.. Reuben Randle 102 yards... throwing a screen pass to a RB when Eli is shredding the defense? priceless..

Like I said before, our receivers had a step on that D. How does Eli not attempt a long pass is beyond comprehension.
 
Well the defense played well. The turnovers kept them on the field all game and in horrid field position.

I still like this team. The easier schedule and weak division still makes them a playoff contender.

I'd worry about Wilson. But AP had massive fumble issues at both OK and early at Min so maybe he can overcome them.
 
All things considered (amount of time on the field via turnovers) the defense played decent.

Losing Prince and Connor for an extended period would not be good.

Also in this boat. Whoops. He'll see some bench from me for at least the next two weeks. I wonder how long Coughlin doghouses him for.

Pick up a free agent back. Use Wilson at KR, and in certain situations where we might need to stretch the D. Tiki his ass. What a horrid performance.

I am livid. I should probably just step away from the computer :laugh:
 
I seriously need another RB in fantasy as well now.. no way Wilson even sniffs the next 2 games IMO.
