its dumb for a QB to take on a defender with his throwing shoulder instead of walking out of bounds and not getting hit.

Who cares? He's a rookie with almost zero confidence. If that helps him build it, it helps the team. There's a difference between a struggling rookie doing it and a star player.

Part of being a rookie is learning not to take an unnecessary risk. it wasn't THAT big of a risk but it would be if he does that consistently

So what movie do I have to turn it to in order for the Raiders to score 18 points in the last 2 minutes? Miracle on 34th Street?

He doesn't so it's not much of a risk, lol.

You gotta do whatever you can to rebuild his confidence. If doing that on a long run play does, so be it.

Agreed it's just a matter of if but he doesn't so it's not that big of a risk.

I do remember that one he had at the beginning of the year where he just stopped in the middle of the field practically and got blown up from behind

I'd say this loss was disappointing but in order to become disappointed you have to have hope first.

I can't believe Eli's luck this year. It's like they are charging him for every big play he ever made that seemed impossible with some of the weirdest interceptions I have ever seen this year that aren't always his fault or the receivers.

i thought the same thing...but then i changed my tune a bit. i didn't mind him showing a bit of moxie and willingness to stick his nose in it. not the 'smart' play but also, it's a contact sport and he was displaying a bit of fight. which is nice. maybe the rangers could learn a thing or two...

He's been at fault for a lot of his interceptions. Not this one, though.

I'm trying to figure out what city other than New York has the worst teams in sports this season?

Giants are horrible. I'm so disgusted by them this year. NY teams are a joke this year

I have been following Gmen for 50 years... What a shameful display of football.. Eli has regressed, i want Nicks gone, Coughlin doesnt need this stress... and bye Killbride and Fewell..

I think Eli is fixable to be honest. Get the guy a good Oline and get rid of Nicks and get new coordinators in and give him another chance.
