Khalil Mack now #7 on Mel Kiper's big board. I still think he can play in the 4-3 scheme despite how he is used in college with Buffalo.

Last night against Miami (OH) [fully aware they are a terrible team] Mack set the FBS record for career forced fumbles. He has 16 now.

8 tackles, 3 sacks, 3 FFs last night. What a ****ing beast.

Starting to think the Giants will be picking too high (or low, depending on your beliefs) for Mack, anyway :( ... :)

Will he be available at 32? :naughty::sarcasm:

Think it might be time to sit Geno. He has regressed since his first games. Does not look the same. It could be very good to sit and learn. Some of the best QBS were bench players at first and right now against a grizzled Ravens team, it could be time to sit him down and have him learn. Simms looks like he can be good but we'll never know without giving some reps in important minutes. Like his arm and accuracy. Stands tall and fires lasers.

They thought they'd have Sanchez and Garrard so Smith could sit and learn. Instead they got stuck trying to search the NFl's scrap heap and decided to let Smith get some experience instead. He seems mentally tough so I'm not worried about this year harming his development. But his current play is hurting this team much more than helping it. Part of that is on the coaches, GM O-line and WR's who get no separation but every week other QB's demonstrate some semblance of accuracy and make the tough throws. He doesn't.

Wait what? A DB catches a ball that hits him right in the hands? Haven't seen that in awhile. The worst part is i'm so pissed off and annoyed I didn't even enjoy the pick off lol

I have no idea WTF Salas was thinking. Hopefully Geno was chewing him out on the side. Would be good for some leadership.

I wish powell was running it more. Ivory won us the saints game but I feel like powell is more consistent and....sigh whatever ******* it (3 ravens just blew past the line as if it was water and sacked smith)

A part of me wonders if Geno also called for the ball at the wrong time partially bc he didn't expect Salas to casually stroll past like it was a ******* nature walk. Then Powell doesn't fall on it and BAM! buffoonery ensues.

Y'know what the AFC can go screw itself with a rusty shard of metal. if they hadn't been so incompetent then the jets wouldn't have been in "control of their destiny" and I wouldn't have to be disappointed.

The way Geno was yelling at Salas makes me think it was Salas's mistake. He was furious when they were walking off. Normally doesn't get angry, too.

Salas 100% screwed up no question. But Smith has routinely displayed such a level of ineptitude that I have to wonder regardless

I don't really think he's been much worse than a normal rookie. He's been better than Eli was his rookie year. He never should have been starting. It's unfortunate that Sanchez got hurt.

I think you guys will be fine with him. Just patch up the OL a bit for pass protection and get him a WR. The defense is elite. First three rounds of the draft should be -->

1. OL/WR
2. OL/WR (whichever you don't take in the 1st round)
3. TE
