Barrie to Wilson is a step down for sure in both offense from defense, and defensive ability. Holden to Stollery is a wash at best.

Wilson is better in his own end than Barrie. At least he won't get pushed off the puck. Wilson has shown some good offensive abilities, just not right after injuries.

Not really. It sucks losing Barrie, but he was pretty average at best. Lots of mistakes. Is he a big improvement over Wilson? It's pretty close. Is Holden better then Stollery? Hell no. I'm happy.

I have a feeling the group of fans here that keep thinking "It can't get any worse" are going to be in for a rude awakening.

A little. Not much. Same with Sarich, and lately the same with Benoit and Guenin, and Holden is just as bad. Hence the problem.

I don't think many people have seen Stollery play... He is pretty bad, worse than any defensemen in our lineup this season by a pretty wide margin.

Guenin and Barrie are actually way better than Wilson, Stollery, and Holden. Sarich is a bit up and down this year but seems to coming in firmly on the side of being worse than those two as well as the season drags on. Still better than the latter 3 though.

It's not a wash. Stollery is a fairly big downgrade from Holden. I know Holden is one of the goats of this board but he has been a perfectly fine AHL plug in. I doubt Stollery will be even that.

The sample size on both Holden and Stollery is too small to judge.

So on the broadcast they said DVG is out indefinitely with a head injury so do they put him on IR (or send him down?) and call someone else up incase Stastny can't go Tuesday? Lake Erie added a few more injuries tonight (Olver, Lerg, Wyman) so if they do call a forward up it might actually be one of Hishon, Sgarbossa, Agozzino, Smith because that's about who they have left.

Have they said anything about Barrie? Hopefully it's something minor. He was able to return, just like O'Reilly was. I doubt that would be possible if there was a major issue with his shoulder.

Your kidding me. What happened to DVG? Three injuries in a night seems about on par for Lake Erie. If we want Hishon or Sgarbossa or Agozzino we should call them up right now before they get injured again.
