thanks gordon, yeah wasn't sure if club blue got anything since the price increase for 4 rows was roughly 100$.

On a side note, prices are insane I don''t think people will have a tough time finding tickets to games.

I have seasons in a wheelchair section. If they come up on Ticketmaster your fine. They give you a folding chair to sit on.

again, correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't it all depend what it says on the ticket?

(ie if you bought them when they were reserved for disabled, or when they were made available to the general public)

fees on TM have been insane along with the markup of the prices. really no use to buy any game on here.

all the 400 level tickets released are obstructed.

Chase presale was beyond useless, even for the tickets they're offering I should be able to beat it on stubhub (Not now, but it comes down closer to games). Nothing upper bowl whatsoever, and close to nothing(at any price) for prime games. Oh well, that's what Stubhub's for, scored some great last minute deals last year, hopefully I'll be able to repeat that.

If you wanted to attend a prime game (buying a pair and didn't care where you sat), it was possible around 11am when the 400 level (row 6,7) seats were released. as of now, all the prime games only have single tickets and are insanely marked up.

i dont know how anyone in their right mind would pay for the high prices for the non-prime games. games vs buffalo on a week night were going on TM for at least $90 each for crappy seats. wow rangers.

Actually had a chance at some obstructed 400's, but I figure if I'm going to a game and spending the $$$(Was almost $100 for 400's alone), I'd bet on stubhub last minute (day of game/hours before), I should be able to get something in the 200's for that. if I'm going to pay, might as well get some seats where I'm going to have a decent view of the action. Sure, it's a bit more money, but I'd rather go to a few less games and get better seats for the ones I go to.

And I agree, why in their right mind would someone pay $90 for 400's on an off peak game, they are usually <70 often under 50 on stubhub for non prime games.

the only 400 level seats i saw were obstructed too.

That's all that they released for those $90 tickets. I caught a glance of the virtual seating chart at 10:00 AM, and only the last few (obstructed) rows were available.

They were the dud seats of the bunch, and they still sold out rather quickly. Can only imagine how fast the decent seats will go when they are released.

i'm really not sure how many "decent seats" will be released, if any. the mezzanine corner seats in row 14 were going to $189/each in the prime games, and these were singles.

the only seats i can see worth buying are the sec 400 row 1 seats, but who knows, they might be like $150 if they're pricing the obstructed ones at $95...

I thought individual tickets did not go on sale until 9/26, and 9/24 was the presale?

They say Wheelchair accessible on them. At least they did last year. Honestly if there is more than 2 or 3 wheelchairs in the entire arena on a given night its a lot.

So if it says WheelChair Accessible does that mean that you have to stand or have someone bring you a a folding chair? I'm assuming there is no actual seat.

Cheapest I saw for the home opener was the limited view 400's at $90. After that it was the $76-$82 price point seats which were going for $155-$160ish. Ticketmaster fees were outrageous, never seen them that high before.

What the Rangers are doing now (via Tickemaster) is their version of Dynamic pricing. I looked at exact same seats for several different games and prices were different for each game. They ranged from $70-100

In effect, Box office prices will come close to mirroring Stubhub prices.

Yeah, and obviously that won't work for selling everything because the prices are stupid high. But they'll never publicly discount their product for unsold seats, instead they're going to dump the extra inventory out the back door at wholesale prices to scorebig, goldstar, etc...

It looks like it's becoming more and more important to be a season subscriber (or know one) to get decently priced seats, glad I got my foot in the door last season!

Let me also take this opportunity to list what I have left...
Section 215 ROW 8 seats 3-4 (corner, Rangers shoot twice, only 2 seats from aisle and wall on other side), $160 for the pair (STH face value $76 per seat)

Tue Jan 14 Lightning 7:00 PM
Mon Mar 24 Coyotes 7:00 PM
Tue Apr 8 Hurricanes 7:00 PM
