I used this trick, helped my friend from getting scammed. I told her the deal was too good to be true on craigslist and to send me the bar codes. They were fakes.

I must be missing something. I go into subscriber central, go through the motions to post my tickets. When the page with the barcodes come up, if I try to change them it just goes back to the previous page. Going directly through ticketmaster, I do not see a link to post tickets for sale. What exactly did you do to check for your friend?

yeah once you enter in the barcodes and its not correct.... it tells you in red it is not correct and call them.
yeah, tested. I put in 1234567890 and 1234567899. They didnt work. I just wonder if the system is able to immediately invalidate codes once the tickets are used. for example, a dirtbag buys tickets, prints multiple copies. Obviously they will have the same barcodes. Sells to a guy outside the arena, then goes in. Guy outside re-sells to someone. If the buyer is aware of this site and checks the barcodes, will they come up as invalid if the original dirtbag has already entered?

If multiple copies of the same "valid" tickets are sold, then it's a race to the turnstyle for whoever gets there first. That's why I say it's a good idea to lock the barcodes by keeping the listing up on ticket exchange for a high price and then take down the listing just before you walk into the garden
I used this the other day. I asked a guy on CL for a barcode. He gave me one and it said it had been entered already, yet the sec/row combo we were talking about was not listed for sale. Smelled too fishy and gave up. Thanks, GG.

Looks like there is zero demand for these tix. $500 down low on stubhub. Nothing moving up top. Why is this? People away? No business people to drive up cost?

zero demand? Seats are over $400 to get in, if there was zero demand we'd be talking <$200. I think prices are too high and will come down by. You're right on the money though with people away and the business crowd not in manhattan.

FYI I'm buying a pair tomorrow from a guy who offered to walk me into the stadium. Seats are $320 each located in section 208 row 13. The only issue is that im going alone, but I would love to be able to take the guy up on his offer of walking me into MSG.
If anyone is willing to pay $320 for the other ticket (which is what im paying), we can both go in together and it should be a fairly painless transaction. Let me know if youre interested, and thanks as always!

I can usually tell the CL scammers purely by the language they use in their emails. Clearly not fans. I say "hey can you email me from a company email address" and magically they never respond. Last year a guy kept changing his meeting location so I said, "hey since this is a lot of money do you mind if I ask to see your ID when we meet?" He never showed.
I got tix for tomorrow for $300 a ticket in the lounges. Drinks and food included. I think it is a fair price, but the top of my budget.
Very simple, by losing game 3, they no longer have the chance to close it out tonight so the demand drops.
