Why is the secondary mkt for this game dropping like a rock???
Makes no sense. Have the Rangers lost their Wall Street luster?
Game 3 was selling for significantly higher prices...
You would think first chance to clinch Cup in 20 years (at home no less) would bring everyone and there sister out
The get in price is still 400+......1. they played like crap last night so alot of people lose faith. 2. Why spend 400 on ECF when you can save it and put it towards SCF tix....i know alot of people holding out because cant afford both.

It is really complicated as there are numerous dynamics in effect.
Some people holding these tickets are fans, and others are brokers.
The current price is at least in part based on what ticket have gone for in recent games and what people would like to get.
There are currently 17% of all tickets for the game listed on StubHub. At some point, if people really want to sell, the prices will have to tank a bit. The actual number of people who have paid over $500 a ticket is far less than 3,000.
Will be interesting to see what happens.
If you think about it, $500+ in the upper level for a semi finals game is a bit much. Considering that $2k gets you into the super bowl, if you go to 3 semis and 3 SCF that would be well over $2k.
I don't think that's really relative. You're talking about 1 game vs. 6. Of course you're getting close to 2K with 6 games in the last two rounds.
Add in the fact that most football stadiums hold around 60,000. That's 3X the amount of seats. A 2K ticket to the SB puts you in literally like the highest seat in that stadium.
And FWIW, the tickets will not be $500 if they make the SCF. They will be much closer to $1000 to get in the door. My seats are in the upper bowl and the cheapest they are going for is 1500 a pop on SH.

The question is are they "going" at that price, or is that merely the asking price.

I have a single ticket in 103, row 20. PM with offers

For the SCF, they are going for that. The sold list was all around there. I"m in the lower half of the upper bowl, center ice.
Is that wheel chair?
