We don't need another goalie. Talbot is very good. He will push himself because he wants to make the NHL, abd this is a make or break season for him. He needs to eliminate the WTF goals.

I am catching myself being somewhat more excited that the Pack is back and seeing plenty of prospects play that will hopefully kick azz in the AHL... NHL is all glitz and glory and high-end end hockey, I am so happy the team is back as the Wolf Pack (colour, logo, sweater, name... ALL) and the more raw and run-and-gun hockey of the AHL...

REALLY hope Hedberg gets a NYR deal so he can push Talbot harder to become better... Missiaen and Malcom I see in ECHL, Stajcer injured so who knows, Skapski in Juniors. Man, Hedberg and Talbot in the AHL would be a tremendous duo, PLUS it gives the NYR the option to call up Hedberg if they need someone to fill in an emergency basis or just sit on the bench while letting Talbot continue to play in the AHL. Lets see what happens with the Moose.

Hell, I don't see why Hedberg wouldn't sign for the Whale if necessary... Give him max AHL Salary $925,000 for 1 year and let him push Talbot for the "backup" spot when Biron's contract expires.

Then again, it's been said Hank likes Biron and that they work off of eachother, so that's something.

I think Hank likes any goalie who won't ***** about sitting on the bench most of the time.

Camp Day 3: Three groups for practice

a bunch of young guys are NOT listed:
jean, burke , trainor, j graves. skapski, spelling, stevenson

assume Kyle Jean is hurt, he played fist game at TC but not since,
and that Spelling is back to Europe

The only other non-tryout on the list is Skapski

Josh Graves is the only TC tryout not listed,

O'Donnell is the only one that IS listed of the 4 new names that were posted Wednesday

trainor is probably at Buffalo camp, if at any NHL camp at all, Sabres had him on their published list

the others may end up invited at Hartford camps, along side of guys like Marcou, Carroll and Andrew Rowe who formally signed with 'Pack yesterday

The only two names on that list I find remotely interesting are Hynes and Ambrosie. The rest is just ECHL filler.

St. Croix had an ENG and an assist. Brandon Hynes, who's with the Pack on a tryout, had two goals. The others were Brodie Dupont and Tyler Gjurich (also on a PTO).

Yep. He is back on a tryout

its a shame that he only got 1 game in the NHL while bums like Newbury continute to get chances and take stupid selfish penalties.. so glad Newbury is gone.. such a very dumb hockey player..

Newbury is a better skater than Dupont. That is the difference, that and the fact that Newbury is an excellent AHL player, Dupont, pretty average.
