Yes, there is. It's as expensive as the NHL package, if not more, and the quality isn't great.

For less money you can get a Hockey Streams account, which allows you to watch NHL, AHL, Canadian Junior, KHL and some other games. All in one subscription. I went that way last season and didn't regret it.

I'm going to be giving Hockey Streams a go this year. If I hate it, I'll send you a bill. :D

I'm a 3rd year hockeystreams customer... Love it to bits!!!
NHL games are always TOP quality (as they have a broadcast team and numbers of cameras), AHL is good quality, but it all depends on the arenas and what teams have invested... I believe the Wolfpack/Whale last year had 4-5 different camera angles... Providence had 1... a center ice cam, the same one basically they use to tape the games for the league... I am SO excited about the Pack being back, and I look forward to Sunday 9pm (here in Austria, 3pm in the US) Wolfpack games... last enjoyment before a week of work :)

XL center is too old, the city won't sink much money into it, there's 5 AHL teams within 2 hours of each other there and there's no easy way to get there from NYC.

I know it sucks to hear, but the options were either Nassau or Bridgeport.

Look at the structure on the lease they signed. It's very, very obvious we'll be moving.

Looks like Mitch has had the same musings

Still speculation at this point, though.

People involved with the team and the state group that worked with MSG all are pretty open with the fact that the Rangers will likely leave Hartford when the current 3-year contract is finished. Should be interesting to see how attendance is affected by a lame duck period.

Highly doubt it'll change much if at all.

Danny Hobbs sucks. He's a mediocre ECHL player.

Last year, there were 12 forwards in Greenville who scored more per game than Hobbs. Granted a few guys got called up, but he's still just a good third liner to a marginal second liner in the ECHL. I don't see him as anything more than a marginal AHLer when he reaches his peak.

HARTFORD WOLF PACK PRESEASON SCHEDULE

Wed,. Sept. 25 - WORCESTER - CHAMPIONS SKATING CENTER, CROMWELL, CT, 7:00
Thu., Sept. 26 - ALBANY - XL CENTER, 7:00

I contacted Hartford Wolf Pack about group buys for Flex Packs (tickets that work at every regular season game, just show up and bring to box office).

Depends on section of seating, but its pretty damn affordable, I'll say

Has the Wolfpack schedule been released? Trying to catch some games in Albany at Times Union this year since I won't get to many Ranger games

At NYR training camp, all non-NCAA/non-Europe NYR properties are on the roster (and Spelling)
Also all the Traverse City attendees except Paxton Leroux (AHL signees Dodero, Malcolm, try-outs Barnett, J.Graves. K.Wilson, Oligny, Fanelli)
Also Wolfpack signee Brendon Nash.
'Pack signees Marcou and Carroll NOT listed.

4 invited try-outs at forward -
20 year old Junior hockey forwards
Peter Trainor (OLigny teammate in Q @ Rimouski) and Dyson Stevenson (Regina, WHL); 19-yr old Taylor Burke from Gatineau of the Q,
and 25 yr-old canadian college hockey grad Shawn O'Donnell

I am catching myself being somewhat more excited that the Pack is back and seeing plenty of prospects play that will hopefully kick azz in the AHL... NHL is all glitz and glory and high-end end hockey, I am so happy the team is back as the Wolf Pack (colour, logo, sweater, name... ALL) and the more raw and run-and-gun hockey of the AHL...

REALLY hope Hedberg gets a NYR deal so he can push Talbot harder to become better... Missiaen and Malcom I see in ECHL, Stajcer injured so who knows, Skapski in Juniors. Man, Hedberg and Talbot in the AHL would be a tremendous duo, PLUS it gives the NYR the option to call up Hedberg if they need someone to fill in an emergency basis or just sit on the bench while letting Talbot continue to play in the AHL. Lets see what happens with the Moose.
