Before the game Fasth got the Best Player Award selected by the fans.
The first line with Fasth-Krog-Rakhshani was involved in 3 of 4 goals for the team but it ended up a loss in overtime 5-4.

Fasth: 1+1 (+1) 21:43 on the ice.

So Fasth's team is down 2-1 in the best of 7 series, correct?

Stats tables in the first post have been updated.

EDIT: All the leagues are now heading into playoff mode, so any updates to stats moving forward will be in the Playoff Table down near the bottom of the post. The exception being the NCAA guys--playoff stats in NCAA get lumped in with regular season stats.

I'm not going to track the playoff stats for the AHL guys (if the Whale make it), because **** that.

I LOL'd hard on that one, spit my damn water all over my keyboard at work, thanks

We are third-best in offense in the East, but dead last in scoring. I think adding Kreider and Fasth could help a lot by creating speed and depth offense.

I think the long-term outlook for this team, with Miller, Kreider, Fasth, Lindberg and hopefully one of Hrivik, Yogan, Thomas, Bourque plus McIlrath is good. The problem is Kreider didn't take that next step and neither did Miller. McIlrath's injury also did not help.

Almost like a "perfect storm"

Lindberg...wow. Best player in the playoffs so far, you guys have a good one in him. Toe-dragged the D and roofed a backhand top shelf, great assist too.

OL also picked up a double minor in the first for roughing and cross-checking.

Love that when you run the page through Chrome translator, Jarnkrok shows up as Iron Hook. Best name ever.

I think I am known for having a mancrush on Fasth. That said, do NOT bring him into the NHL this year. He's not the player who makes us go from 10th to instant cup contender. Put him with the Whale and see what he can do. Let him adjust to the game on smaller ice. He (and Lindberg) has all the abilities to make the Whale a dangerous underdog, should they reach the playoffs.
You don't just throw a young, promising prospect in the roster during the playoff push. I know, a lot of you guys think, he won't hurt, it can't be getting any worse. I agree with you there. But remember, a year with this team, if they go on another losing-streak can hurt his confidence in his ability to play in NA.
Another point, he never has had as many games as this season. Exhausted players are more prone to injuries, and while I'm not saying Fasth is injury prone, he has some history with freak accidents.
